Answer:	It depends on the type of classes that you're taking. I'm a software engineering student, so this laptop would never work well enough for me, because I have to download a lot of big programs and am a little bit harder on my computer. We got this laptop for my husband, who is an English student, and it works perfectly for him, because most of what he does is online research, writing papers, etc. The biggest swing is probably the amount of storage it has. Answer:	I would go directly through the manufacturer, in this case that would be HP, get THEIR battery. I also know they have a regular battery and the better lithion battery. The lithion one will last several hours long, perfect for streaming videos or watching movies. I would NOT go through a third party for that battery because you are running a risk. It might be a bit cheaper but you don't know if it is an after market product, refurbished etc so you are better off going through HP and ordering it. I am sure you can pick one up for around $100. I spend $125 and got a new SSD drive so I am sure for $100 you can get a new battery.
