Answer:	The description states, "Holds up to a 11lb load and devices as thick as 0.4in / 11mm with the rubber foot insert and 0.55in / 14mm without it." So.....I think you're suppose to take the whole rubber foot piece/base out if you need a little more room. Not sure how much room that would allow for a case still, but I thought I'd point that out anyway. (Especially to those who have a thicker device in itself)

Answer:	I bought mine to hang ball caps on and if I am not careful they will fall off. It is not narrow enough behind the knob at the end of the peg so the caps slip off too easily. I would not hang anything breakable on it.

Answer:	Yes-if it is plugged in, it is drawing power, but not much. But-I was told, you do not want to leave it plugged in-take it out and only plug it in AFTER you have started your car (if you are starting your car-it really drains the battery and can start to wreck your phone battery as well). However-you can charge your phone without the car running. So, say you lost power in your house-you can plug it into your outlet and just charge your phone...not much battery power is used.

It is very easy to install also. I like the clean finish and that the nails go throw the bamboo and doesn't use hooks so it is flush against the wall. I think they are a great buy.
