If you only intend on protecting a $60 kit lens, spending $55 on 2x rubber lens caps isn't cost effective. I use them to protect my Canon 85mm 1.2L II, Canon 24-70mm 2.8L II, and Canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS. The truth is, I use "sacrificial" UV filters that cost even more than this, which are meaningless beyond their ability to protect my glass. Most of all, I use these on top of my regular Canon Lens caps, primarily to protect the outer surface of my lenses from nick, dents and scratches. Personally, I don't see the negligible cost of some extra rubber protection for over $6k in lenses a waste. Answer:	It will if the lens has an 82mm diameter. If you have another cap, it will have the size on it.

I would recommend that after you have the camera in hand, that you go to a photo store (if they still exist) and get a push-on lens cap. The center-pinch caps require a very specific lens thread diameter and there is little room for variance.

Answer:	Since the Nikon 70-300 lens requires a 67mm lens cap, then it should fit fine. I have that same lens and have lost and replaced the lens cap several times with whatever 67mm replacements I could find. Answer:	I don't think this will work as they are really soft and pliable. They can be stretched to fit a big lens like 24-70mm. But they will not hold things unless you wrap them around something.

Answer:	When I first got my Nikon D3200 I had trouble getting the rear cap off as well, I was turning it the wrong way. If you hold the lens in your hand with the front facing down you will want to turn the cap to the right(clock wise) to remove it and turn it to the left(counter clock wise) to tighten.
