Answer: I used them at the Grand Canyon and Sodona in the middle of summer. They were great! Very supportive and not too hot or sweaty on my feet.
Question: Why doesn't the Targhee 2 Mid WP Hiking Boot come in wide sizes like the Targhee 2 Mid Boot? Is there any diff in WP capabilities between the two
Answer: Unfortunately I haven't hiked in the rain yet with mine but I would recommend wearing waterproof pants that cover the top of the boot. If you are wearing shorts your socks/feet may get wet.

Answer: I have never tried the Montara boots. I bought the Sugarpine II boots last year and I love them. I use them to hike thru puddles and my feet stayed dry. I used them with my snow shoes all Winter and my feet stayed warm. They are comfortable, too

Answer: I have a size 13 foot and usually wear a 13. These Keens fit just like the other Targhee's but better. So if you are a 13, I'd buy a 13. I ABSOLUTELY love these shoes!

Question: Are these boots waterproof
Answer: These are a D width but I've found them to be the widest D boots that Keen makes. I've tried 10+ Keen shoes and boots and these have the widest toe box. If you buy them from Amazon make sure to check the Manufacture date. I've bough some new ones that were 3 years old and the glue holding the tread started coming apart in 4 months. Thankfully Keen replaced them for free. (I've owned 4 pair of these over the years and have loved these boots)
Question: Is there a non water proof version
Answer: These shoes were never intended to be waterproof. They are ventilated so that your feet can breath. They are however not damaged by walking through creeks. Your feet will get wet. These shoes will put up with everything you can hike through and not fail on you.
Question: Mine are less than 6 months old and started to rip. What's the warranty on these
Answer: D is standard width. E is wider. I believe M is the same as D, or Medium.
Question: Will the 11.5 wide fit me? My shoe size is 11.5 and i usally buy 11.5 3E or 4E depending on what is available
Answer: Yes. I do that with my Keens all the time. I have always worn the Targhee but just bought these for the first time. The people who recommend the Merrell Chameleon and say these aren't "slip ons" don't understand what you are asking; I do. I just bought these and wore them for the first time yesterday. When getting ready for bed, I slipped them off in the closet and this morning I was able to slip them back on fine. I push my foot as far forward as I can get it before attempting to slip the heel down. Once they're on, I bump the toe and then the heel against the floor to even out my socks. These work fine.

Answer: I’ve had my keens for 5 months and where them every day whether it be for working or walking around the neighborhood. Mine are wearing great with no signs of unusual wear. They are honestly mor comfortable than my sneakers, brooks, Nike and Wilson tennis shoes. I love them. Most comfortable shoes I own.
Question: Some of the colors pictured are in the Mid size shoe. Are they really different styles, or are they simply showing available colors
Answer: If you need a good supportive arch AND you really want this shoe. Get the inserts that are suggested or buy a pair yourself. Alone these shoes dont have much arch support.
Question: I usually wear 11 wide, which size should i order
Answer: The Targhee II and the Targhee III are both Targhee styles that are built using the same last so they will be similar in terms of their fit, although the Targhee III will fit a bit narrower in the toes than the Targhee II due to the design of it's uppers.
