Answer:	After washing and conditioning, apply a few drops to hands and run through damp hair. After blow drying, leaves my fine graying hair shiny without a greasy look or feel. For longer hair, I believe I would apply it to the damaged areas a little more liberally than the root area, but in small amounts spread more evenly. My hair is only a few inches long.

Answer:	I didn't have a problem with mine, but try holding the base of the pump and turning. Sometimes I get bottles that have more trouble than others. (If you have one of those rubber grip pads for opening cans, it helps the base to be less slippery.) Good luck!

WHIPPED LAVENDER + SHEA BODY BUTTER

Slowly melt 8 oz of Shea Butter.

Remove from the heat and add in 3 oz of Almond Oil, 1 tsp of Vitamin E oil, and 30 drops of each of your Lavender and Lemongrass Essential Oils.

Let it cool off for 10 minutes, then put the oils in the fridge for about 45 minutes.

Take the mix out of the fridge and using an electric mixer, whip the body butter for about 5 minutes.

The consistency will be soft and creamy, but will solidify to the consistency of Raw Shea Butter after all ingredients have completely cooled off.

HEAVENLY DAY & NIGHT FACE MOISTURIZER

Place 1 tbsp of melted Shea Butter, 1 tsp of Rosehip Seed Oil, 1/2 tsp of Almond Oil, 1/2 tsp of cold pressed Aloe Vera gel and 20 drops of Lavender Essential Oil in a small glass jar and stir well.

Loosely cover the jar with a lid (do not close it shut while the oils are still hot) and let it sit for about 2 hours, or until mostly solid. With a fork, start stirring and mixing your lotion until you achieve a soft, creamy butter.

Use twice a day on clean skin, once before bed, once in the morning as your base moisturizer.

Shelf Life: This recipe mixes aloe vera with oils and butters, but it has no preservatives, so this lotion should be used within 2 weeks. It's like making fresh food in your kitchen - eat it when it's fresh, then make some more!

SHEA SHAVING CREAM

Slowly mellt 2/3 cup of Unrefined Shea Butter and 2/3 cup of Coconut Oil.

Remove from heat and add in 1/4 cup of Almond Oil, 2 drops of Vitamin E Oil, and 20 drops of Lavender Essential Oil, mixing well.

Let cool for 10 minutes, then put in the fridge for about 45 minutes.

Remove from the fridge and whip with an electric mixer set on high for 5 minutes.

Add 1/4 cup of Baby-Mild Castille Soap and mix well.
