Answer:	I don't know you could probably use a very stiff brush and lightly apply small amount dry the brush and brush back and forth to create an old look also use a rag to smear it I would apply very little and work from there . I hope this helps

Answer:	I mostly use it to paint church vestments, which we only spot clean. However, I did use it to paint a ruff for my dog, which he managed to get filthy. So I hand-washed it and took a heavy duty scrub brush to it. It faded slightly after that, but that is probably more heavy duty than being put in a typical washing machine. Depending on how dirty the item is and what material it is painted on, you could always do a test run gently hand-washing it and see if that gets the job done. The paint should do really well then.
