Answer:	These are great at the beach. No sand or moisture issues at all
Question:	Can the cup holder be removed
Answer:	Yes, this can be safely used in the shower. I can withstand jets of water sprayed at it from all angles. Just don't submerge it under water and you'll be fine.
Question:	do you need a base for this to install? or does it come with a base
Answer:	Its not a deal breaker because its a "Portable rechargeable" speaker. I use mine every day, sometimes go a week before i recharge it.Like most battery powered devices, you should discharge completely more than ot so battery doesnt develop a memory issue. This is crucial in older nickel-cad tech batteries, but still can with newer battery technology. Having a outside power source continually connected to most battery powered devices will ruin the battery as it is always topped up and develops a major memory issue. It happened to two of my children's laptops.
Question:	On the seat itself it says both "rear facing for 5-40 lb" and, on the warning, "use rear facing only with an infant weighing less than 22 lbs
