Question:	Buttons stopped working right. no backspace, no ... button left of "u", no numbers on right hand, no enter. macosx. how do i switch back to default
Answer:	You switched layout modes. Esc should switch it back, or unplugging the cables
Question:	Because this requires special software, i'm wondering if i could still change the keyboard layout to dvorak in settings
Answer:	I use dvorak. if you just set your keyboard input to dvorakin software, it will do just that. If you want the keyboard to output the right characters in dvorak for any device, you'll need to flash the firmware/update the layout in HW.
Question:	Can I switch the link cable with a longer one? from a third party
Answer:	I haven't done this but I know other people have. One end of the cable is Micro-USB and the other is Mini-USB.
Question:	Can just the right side be programmed and used by itself? I would only need and carry the right half
Answer:	Yes. Each side is individually programmable and can be used by itself.

Answer:	Yes,But you must make sure whether you can install the switches by yourself.
Question:	I need 30 inches between kb pieces. What type usb connects the kb pieces? I will be an extra long one once answered
Answer:	Not entirely. First, if you are going for Cherry (OEM or MX) keys then there are some keys that appear in different rows on the Koolertron than on a typical ANSI layout keyboard. This means that the profile of that key (the height and angle) will not necessarily correspond to the row it appears on with the Koolertron. Additionally, there are some keys that are not standard sizes, such as the split SPACE bars (left hand is 1x1.5, right hand is 1x2), ENTER (1x1.75) and BACKSPACE (1x1.5). I have a few custom key cap sets and I have found that you can order specific keys to make everything how it should be with the exception of the BACKSPACE key Cherry profile because there is no row 4 1x1.5 key on any other board so the custom key cap makers do not have a dye cast for this- instead I use a row 3 1x1.5 and so it is a little lower profile than the surrounding key caps (not that big of an issue). That said, there are alternative keycaps that may not have this issue. For instance, DCS and SA are styles manufactured by Signature Plastics that have different profiles for each row (i.e. are sculpted) but it appears that they might make a row 4 1x1.5. Signature Plastics also make some styles- DSA and G20- that are not sculpted so each row has the same profile and therefore there would not be the same difficulty matching keys when they are in non-standard rows.

Answer:	I would purchase this in a hot minute if it had Mac (programming) support. I understand it works out of the box, but I don't keep a windows machine around to program keyboards.

Answer:	The keybaord is great. Please note the H key is on the left side which causes some issues for users who were hardcore Ms. Mavis followers. lol. The cable that connects the two sides is just a usb-c to usb-c cable. We solved by simply buying longer cables and it worked.

Question:	Can the macro programming permit a toggle repeater key? That is you hit the key once and it keeps sending the keystroke or macro until hit it again
Answer:	Did you copy the 'entire' software CD to your PC? I can't recall if it was the 'same' error, but I too had some sort of error when I tried to use after copying only the "AMAG_EN" folder to my PC. You also need to copy the folder that looks like "AMAG_╚╒▒╛╒Z". Mine worked after doing this. Also, when you are using the software app to reprogram the kb, it needs to be plugged directly into the PC. It can't be plugged into a 'Hub' or some kind of splitter. After programming, then it can be used (typing) on a Hub.

Question:	what are the dimensions
Answer:	Yes, you can. In the software, you first assign ctrl to the key, then "split" that into ctrl-down and ctrl-up. Between them insert the shift, then split THAT into shift-down and shift-up. Finally, insert the F1 key between the shift-down and shift-up events. Sounds confusing, but once you load up the software it's not too hard to figure out. Hope that helps!

Question:	Is the programming utility compatible with multiple units like this
Answer:	Yes. You can program a sequence of key inputs, a macro, and save it to the pad device. Then you can assign that macro to a key on a key pad. Once the key is pressed the macro will continue to run until the key to which macro is assigned is pressed again. Additional note, there is a limit on how many macros the key pad can hold, I believe it is either 4 or 6 macros.
Question:	Can I receive the link for the programming utility (Windows 10/64), the functionality of this is as important to me as the hardware/keyboard is
Answer:	The keyboard and keyboard cannot be connected to each other. It can only be connected directly to the computer through the USB cable. If the number of USB ports on the client computer is not enough, you can connect a USB HUB docking station.
