Answer:	It might recognize the signals from the super scope on a Retropie (through an emulator), but, even if the emulator is programmed to recognize super scope input, PC emulation usually creates more than a frame of latency which means the gun can't detect the correct frame on the screen, even on a CRT. The only SNES emulator I'm aware of that can play light gun games is the xSNES9x, a version of the SNES9x emulator that runs exclusively on a modded original Xbox. It will play with an Xbox light gun, but I don't know if this adapter is compatible with a modded Xbox nor whether the adapter creates any latency.

Answer:	For most modern 3D games designed for HD tvs, you won't notice any lag at all (Zelda BofW, Mario Odyssey). However, play something that requires incredible precision, like MegaMan 11 (which seems to require the sharp timing of the older CRT-intended games), and you will notice enough lag to get you killed when using a wireless controller. For this game specifically, I used a wired controller with this adapter and the difference is noticeable.
