Question:	Should I buy this new version ? I have the old one and sometimes it works, sometimes it it doesn't. The first version is junk
Answer:	Technology changes fast, not sure difference in older model. I had the 1st generation ring. It's ability to charge malfunctioned and wasn't the battery. I had issues with this model but was able to iron them out with the manufacturer. I like it now, and so far crashed 3 times but needed a power down to reset it. Not sure why it crashed but hasn't needed any reset now for 5 months and counting. Technology requires a little patience to work with.

Answer:	This won’t work on the Atari 2600 / I tried this two weeks ago with it not working. The ends are huge with this causing a problem with the board not laying down flat as it should . Don’t buy it

Answer:	Some of the old game machines output a composite video signal that had to be converted to a radio frequency (RF) signal to drive an analog TV input. They were also able to directly drive a composite video monitor, and some not-so-old TVs could be hooked to them with a simple "RCA" style cable like this one, without the enclosed "RF TV Connector" adapter. This cable/ adapter combo is for those early machines that output an analog RF TV signal on channels 3/4, and need no conversion (modulation). If you search for "Original Nintendo RCA RF modulator" you will find the box that converts the Nintendo COMPOSITE output to an RF signal, and has the same cable ends you see in this kit. If there is NOT a channel 3/4 selector switch on the back of your Nintendo, you will need the converter box/cable assembly, not just a cable like this one with the same connectors on it. Those boxes are called it a "TV connector," or a NES RF Adapter (switch)." You can get the "NES-003" used for $5 and up. Again, the cable you see here is for the earlier game machines that output an RF signal on channels 3 or 4 from an RCA style connector, in which case it would be everything you need for any TV that accepts RF coax antenna input, which is almost all built since 1970 (Atari's box connected to both coax and ribbon antenna cable). Please note that there is no provision in this particular Atari cable for switching back and forth from antenna to game. That would require a simple switch box that allows you to do that without swapping cables to your TV. These are NOT the same thing as a modulator/switch assembly, and I've seen them sold at dollar stores. They simply switch multiple RF inputs to a single antenna cable for your TV. If you buy this cable and it turns out you need the other stuff I mentioned, this could still possibly be used as part of an extension cable with the right adapters, but by itself, it does not do any signal conversion (modulation). Answer:	I just bought this yesterday. I am running the latest OS X Yosemite 10.11.2 and it works *but only if you plug in the device to the USB port AFTER launching the application*. If the device is already plugged in then it does not record any sound.

Answer:	The mixed answers here might be because of the following behavior: You have to plug the device into the usb port *AFTER* launching the application. If the device is already plugged in then it does not record any sound. However if you plug in the device after the app is running and asking you to plug it in it does record sound and works just fine. I am running OS X Yosemite 10.11.2.

Answer:	Yes, I just hooked this up to my Kenwood receiver and it sounds fantastic. Do not hook this up to the Phono input on your receiver as it will overload the pre-amp and it will sound absolutely terrible. That is more for a higher end record player. I recommend hooking up to the auxiliary inputs on your receiver if you have them. If you do not have auxiliary inputs then try any other input other then phono. I have my player hooked to the "tape" inputs. I am playing Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and it sounds better then any CD I own, by far.
