Answer:	Plug it up using the adapter it comes with or go grab a 2-3 amp phone charger. The Xbox should only output 5V/0.5A and you're splitting that between two controllers. 24 hours is excessive, but it may have some safety feature preventing charging with inadequate current.

Answer:	This is not an answer... but I'm having the same issue. Both battery packs are fully charged, but my only controller that the packs will work in and allow connection with the Xbox 360 is my black controller. with the three other white ones I have, when using with one of these new battery packs, the controller will turn on but just keeps blinking and will not connect to the console. I've tried syncing the controller with the wireless sync buttons and I've also tried using the plug and play cable... still won't connect to the console. Have you had any luck yet resolving the issue?
