Answer:	It should still help to retain heat. My experience is different. My 21 foot round cover is a bit larger than surface of the pool. Seems like a good question to pose to the manufacturer.

I have it installed the way the warranty requires. When it rains water gets on top of the cover and actually holds it in place better. With pillows and jugs of water hanging off the sides you can guarantee your cover will have to be replaced yearly.

Answer:	There are metal rods you pass through loops in the inner shell of the softbox that fix in place to a metal ring that doubles as the bowens mount. It can be a bit tricky. Once I had mine together I just left it assembled.

Answer:	When I had a rectangular pool I went to my local packaging supply house and bought the same blue material. It only lasted two seasons but that’s all I get out of this one anyway.
