Question:	How is the durability of the writing surface? My current wipe offs have been scratched up by my middle schoolers in 1 year
Answer:	I'd say they are pretty high quality boards! They are not poorly made at all nice and thick.
Question:	How thick are the boards
Answer:	Less than a quarter inch. I measured our old Lakeshore boards and they are about a quarter inch so these boards are just a little less.

Answer:	Yes, the markers included with it work great and erase well. I was highly satisfied with the quality of the board, marker and eraser. We use them all the time.
Question:	Is it cardboard or wood based? I need to use these with second graders and I'm hoping they will last for more than one school year
Answer:	Hi, I had already taken them to school so I had to go back to check them again. I want to make sure I give you correct information. They are wood based. They are double sided so I had a tough time writing my name on them. Basically I wrote it very small on the edge with a Sharpie. I did the same with the cute little erasers. I couldn't with the pens but I don't care because you know you will use them up. I teach Middle School so if I had my perfect dry erase board the back side would look like graph paper but it isn't so..... It'll work. I'm excited about them. I hope this helps.
