Tried it on Gran Turismo 6 on PS3 and doesn't work, need a sequential shifter like the paddles for that. The only thing that got me was the reverse gear, push shifter in like a joystick button and slide into 6th gear slot, symbol on the knob is just for looks.

Answer:	You will probably drill out the peg holding the leg to the table. It would be a cool approach if worked. PS. There are solid drill extensions available that may have a greater chance of success.. I though would see the torque and rotation as being destructive to any leg less than 3" diameter..

Answer:	No idea what a nail will do to the path, I make sure as best I can not to hit one. Other boring bits dulled instantly when I hit a large nail where the path cannot be changed

Answer:	On the 9/16 diameter bit, the shank is round but there are 3 flats on the end that goes in the drill chuck to prevent slippage.
