Answer:	No there is not supposed to be a catch. Ours does it too sometimes. I have noticed it is much less likely to happen if you secure the legs, then arms, then fold into truck and push the head down last.

Answer:	Not sure about your question. Both the car and the remote have to be turned on at the same time for the car to work. The car also has to be charged in order for it to work. It will run for about 30 minutes before it has to be charged again. If you're pressing the buttons on the remote and nothing happens perhaps the car is not charged or it's not turned on.
