Answer:	Glass Blocks are traditionally mortared together. There is the Provantage System which uses spacers with silicone and then grouted afterwards for the DIY that does not feel comfortable with using mortar.

Answer:	I am sorry but I do not know much about construction . What I can tell you is that I purchased these blocks to add height to our existing bathroom shower wall made of glass blocks. There was no frame and it was installed using some block cement. The older glass block was installed over twenty years ago.

Answer:	They do not interlock. You install them with glass block mortar as you would any brick wall. You can get metal wall ties that you can screw to an adjoining wall and then bend into an “L” shape to embed in the mortar. You could also use clear silicone to glue them together for a non-structural installation.

Answer:	There is no hole that one can use to inset lights. I would suspect that one could drill a hole in the glass with the proper tool. I would expect a high breakage rate. They shatter when broken. While they are not “fragile” (kind of on the order of drinking glasses), they are very brittle and do break on any significant impact. There are lots of sharp edges and shards when they do break.

Answer:	I will say it was VERY hard to find someone to install this door. It took me weeks and endless phone calls. The Dreamline website shows a list of their "certified installers" by area and every one of them that I called did not even know what I was talking about and most did not sell or install any sort of bathroom fixtures. I contacted several handymen and contractors and nobody would touch it. I have a family friend who is a contractor and he would not touch it. I finally found someone after randomly searching on line and calling people. He did do a great job and it cost about $550. We had the doors for over a month before we could get them installed. It was such a hassle and stressful. Now that it is all said and done we love them and they are super high quality and look stunning.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Clean the target surface thoroughly.

2. Measure the surface and cut the glass film. Leave an extra inch margin each side for an easy adjustment.

3. Prepare enough diluted soapy water in a spray bottle.

4. Spray the surface with the soapy water. Peel off the transparent backing film along a short side.

5. Install the film onto the window.

6. Use the squeegee to remove excess water and any bubbles whist applying the film. Wipe off the water using the towel.

7. Trim off the margins. Here you go!

Answer:	Follow instructions. Use soapy water. Put it up. Use squeegee and run down it. Excess water comes out. I didn't have a squeegee, I used the flat edge of my Rubbermaid spatula.

Q1: Why film can't stick well and fall down?

A1: There are 2 layers of window film, one transparent protect sheet, the other face film which we used. Remove backing protect sheet and spraying plenty water to glass. Please do remember to squeegee away air bubbles.

Q2: Why the edge of window film curling up?

A2: The edge of film is too close to the window. Please leave a small gap(about 1 cm )to press out water and air bubbles so that the window film can stick well.

Q3: Why there are so many bubbles?

A3: Too less water. Please tear it down and spray a lot of water, then apply window film again.

Q4: How to remove and store the window film when it is not needed?

A4: Please peel off the film from the corner and keep it in a roll, can be reuse multiple times just wet it again.

Q5: Can I use this window film in cold weather?

A5: Please soften the films with the heat by a hair dryer or by soaking in warm water under cold weather.
