Answer:	Hello there! I purchased this puppy over a year ago as a baby shower gift (to be enjoyed a little later in my great nephew's young childhood) & so it's long been gifted. They are very happy with how adorable it is & so was I upon opening the package. I can't say with certainty about the fabric on his striped shirt, but I just expanded the photo online to see if I could tell & it does look to be the same fine plush fabric as the rest of him... Either way I believe you'll be pleased with the soft quality & total cuteness if you do decide to buy! :)
