My 2 yr. old and 5 yr. old enjoyed them in the pool, they are wonderful toys but not really age appropriate for a one year old yet. |

| Answer: | I just attempted to open the pontoons and was unable to. Probably best to just spray some white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide in there and let it sit for a while in order to sanitize it. A Q-tip would fit through the openings on the top of the pontoons if you had to scrub a little. |

It hangs at angle.So I know this isn't what you asked for, but I had to tell you. I wish I had never bought it. It lasted a week and then it was in the trash.We used a small portable pump that took batteries. I'm sure anything would work really. Imagine blowing up a beach ball buy mouth. It's that type of plug. |
