Question:	Anyone try and catch lizards ? I got lots in my house and can’t stand them
Answer:	This is really too small for most lizards. You may be able to catch some juvenile anoles without harming them. It's great for insects wether you're observing them or just catching to release outside.
Question:	I get a lot of granddaddy long legs and they are pretty fragile. Will this safely catch a fragile spider
Answer:	I guess it depends on size but I think this is a very safe way to catch spiders without harming them. You can cover them up, jiggle it a little and they will fall from the bottom, then gently slide bottom cover. It’s a great tool for catching bugs
Question:	Has anyone tried to catch fruit flies with this
Answer:	I have not, but now I'm going to try! Lol i am doubtful though. They are too fast. But what I do when I have them in the house.....take a glass or jar and put a very small piece of banana in it ; cut a piece of paper in half and make a funnel shape with it, tape it around the jar so the only way in is that funnel hole. Leave it on the counter a few days. The fruit flies go in but can't get out. Make sure the hole is small (I'm sure you can look up pictures of this homemade trap online!
Question:	Where is this made
Answer:	Sticker says China. The spiders I caught and released didn't seem to care where it is made. Just glad not to be hurt by my fumbling with a glass and piece of cardboard and set free uninjured instead. It is very well made, heavy, study construction.

Answer:	Typically frogs and lizards would weigh too much to be suctioned into the Bug Vacuum. You would have much better success with our Bug Net and storing in our Critter Barn or Critter Cage. It is possible you could catch a very tiny lizard but it is mostly for ants, spiders, and smaller bugs or insects.
Question:	can you use this with water animals
Answer:	I don't recommend that you buy this item! I returned it because the bug vacuum didn't work!

Answer:	Yes, Amazon is up and running with no issues that we know of.

Question:	What's to stop the insect from crawling up this and onto you while you're trying to get them outside
Answer:	The insect/spider is caught in the white fibers and held there. The fibers have ridges that immobilize the critters. I've picked up over 100 spiders with this and have never had one escape the clutches of the plastic white fibers.
Question:	What about spiders that carry babies on their backs? Will the babies be contained? They tend to scatter if disturbed
Answer:	I'd recommend putting a small plastic cup over a spider with babies (clear is nice, so you can see where the spider is) and then gently sliding a stiff piece of cardboard under the cup so the spider is contained and can be released inside. Pros - keeps all the babies with mom, even if a few scatter they'll still be in the cup and not in your house. Con - you'll have to get closer to the spider to catch her than you would with the Critter Catcher.
Question:	Has anyone injured a bug with this? Like it couldn't walk away when you released it or was missing a leg or wing or something
Answer:	Most of the time, no. But there may have been a couple times they lost a leg. Still, though, it’s the most effective way to catch a bug without killing it, except for your own hands.
Question:	Will it work on scorpions
Answer:	We had a gentleman get one in Las Vegas for that very reason and e told me that it works great. He said his property is littered with them and previously has been stung every year but not since he got the critter catcher.

Answer:	I think you are saying a mouse "ate" through the cable? My cat ate through mine - the company replied to my comment saying to get a 5mm cable - however the cable we got apparently isn't enough wattage and basically killed the two seperate functions. Likely will have to replace the unit unless the company can provide a direct link to a cable that we can purchase.

Answer:	Hi NW Dryad, The opening is approx 1 inch diam which is smaller than the body wherein lies the observation core which is around 2 inches in diameter. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The Night Vision Light comes on when you depress the trigger.
Question:	Would b this work to catch ants for an ant farm
Answer:	This should be able to pick up whatever bugs are around, ants included.
Question:	How large are the holes at the bottom of the observation tube? If I use this to catch very small ants, will they be able to escape through the holes
Answer:	If you could get them in there in the first place, they probably could get out if they are SUPER tiny, but the vacuum really isn't very strong. Ants could resist the suction, I imagine. We use it solely for catching flying insects to feed to our pet praying mantis. The vacuum is able to suck up small gnats and the like, but I think they are more vulnerable due to their wings getting drawn into the suction.
Question:	What type of batteries does this gadget require
Answer:	It does not require any. Compress the Bug Zooka, place it over the bug, depress the red button and walla the creature is sucked in. One thing, the bug has to be on a flat surface in order for this gadget to work. If it is in a corner or a crevice the Bug Zooka does not work, at least for me it didn't.
Question:	how big is this thing
Answer:	Everybody is incorrect, they give numbers all over the map. Amazon lists the tech specs: Item Dimensions 3.9 x 5.5 x 17.8 inches Item Weight 1.45 pounds. But I would like to know the diameter of the hose's end where the suctioning occurs!

Answer:	It works great with stink bugs. That is why we got it. We keep one upstairs, downstairs & at work. Works great with spiders too. My son said it "makes catching bugs a sport".
Question:	would it catch a 3 inch roach that is 1 inch wide
Answer:	I don't think so. It is an awesome tool but I don't think the hole is big enough for that large of a bug. There is another tool called a spider catcher that I also like that should be able to get it.
