Answer:	The rods extends and fit into the connectors along wing pattern and center rod.

Answer:	This kite is awesome. It did not need much wind to fly. With some help our 7 year old granddaughter did well with it. Our 4th grade grandson tried to fly a stunt kite at the same time and had no luck at all. He flew it later in a stronger wind and said it did well. Looking at the previous post maybe you don't want to fly it in a strong wind.
