Answer:	The longer tail is neat to see it trail. However it’s so long and the kite is so fast, you can end up running into it. Also, the end will start fraying right away, because of the speed of the wind going through it, so it’ll get shorter as you cut it down.

Answer:	You do not need a tail to fly this kite. However there is an attachment point for one if you would like to fly with one. I would recommend a lighter tail such a small diameter tube tail or a streamer tail. The heavier the tail the slower the kite will fly.

Answer:	The line length is not adjustable on these kites. You would have to by a new set of line to have a different length.

Answer:	Yes, you can stack the Colorwave Stunt Kite. Typically, you would want the space between the kites to be in the 36” range and made of a low stretch line/fiber such as Spectra or Dyneema. When stacking, you would also need to upgrade the strength of the flying lines, a 3 stack would be best flown on 100# Spectra/Dyneema unless the winds were on the strong side, then 150# would be appropriate. A stack of stunt kites is also less responsive than a single kite, requiring more room in the sky, so lines in the 100’ plus range would also be recommended. Question:	When you go to turn the kiteit goes into a very fast spin twisting the lines. Doesn't matter if you turn left or right. Is there a way to adjust
Answer:	Stunt kites by design are kites that perform loops, dives, spins, figure 8’s and a host of other aerial maneuvers. When you pull the right handle the kite turns to its right, pull left and it turns to its left. If you hold the handle back for a couple of seconds the kites will continue to spiral, performing multiple loops in that direction. You should think of your hands as if they were on the handle bars of a bicycle, when you pull slightly with one hand, push just a little with the other. If you do 6 loops to the left, follow with 6 to the right and the lines will be untwisted.The length of the lines and the wind speed will both be factors in how fast the kite will fly and maneuver. Make sure you have as much line let out as possible and that the lines are as even as you can get them before you launch the kite.Typically the red handle is always attached to the right side of the kite, that way if you land the kite with twists in the lines all you need to remember is to keep the red handle in your right hand. Once you launch the kite you can fly loops until the lines become untwisted.

Question:	Would you recommend longer replacement string for the synapse 140? Curious if the kite offers a different experience at greater altitudes
Answer:	We've paired this kite with 80 feet of flying line as we feel that length provides a nice balance between speed and usability for the Synapse 140. If you add longer lines, the wind window will become larger and the kite will have more distance to cover to get from one side of the window to the other (making it feel slower by contrast). The more line there is between you and your kite, the more the interplay between the wind and the lines will affect your ability to control the kite. The jump from 80' to 100' might not produce a noticeable change in how controllable your kite is, but much more than 120' or so and it may become an issue. Overall, I wouldn't say that flying this kite higher in the air is going to offer much reward. Dual line kites spend more time directly in front of you than they do overhead, so you might be better served by finding a location with smooth wind at ground level than you would with longer lines if your goal is to have a 'better' flying experience. Answer:	Unfortunately no, this would not be a good fit for kiteboarding or skim boarding. While the larger Synapse 170 or 200 might have enough pull in the right wind, none of the Synapses are designed to come into contact with water - if they get wet, you'll likely need to fish your kite out of the water and allow it to dry before you'll be able to fly again. Keep an eye out for our upcoming water-relaunchable kite, the Mentor, which would work for this and should be available in the next couple of weeks.

Answer:	Ninety inches is large for a stunt kite, but customers have found that it is an advantage because it is easier to control and is more stable in strong winds 10mph. Reports show that it is robust enough to survive multiple nose-dives into sand, on several occasions. Our advice is to make sure that the loops on the wing tips are in place on assembly, per the instruction sheets, which enables tension across the kite and keeps the structure in place. Whilst it is relatively easy to fly for dual line, there is some skill required and because we were mindful of its volume we recommend it for age 14+. It obviously depends on your individual skill level, but we would not recommend it for ages <10. Answer:	Kite has several strings that come together on each side, and there is a loop at the end of each side. The left and right strings also have a loop at each end, as do the hand straps.To pull everything together, you have to pass one end of the long string through the loop one one side of the kite. Then you pull the other end of the long string through the loop at the other end of the long string. Do the same thing to loop the hand strap through the other end, and repeat on the other side.If (when?) the strings or control lines get tangled, simply un-loop everything, clear the tangles, and repeat the steps above.

And it takes time and practice to become deft at flying this kind of kite. But 1) you would then want to step up to a bigger, still non-surfing kite with greater pull and learn how that works in a higher wind and 2) be sure to get training from a qualified instructor before you ever attempt any kind of kite surfing--it can be *very* dangerous, as a search of youtube for kite surfing accidents will show.

Answer:	No, this is a 3/4 size stunt kite and is light weight. you will need a bigger kite, maybe a single line delta 6ft. might do.

Answer:	Rod, although the price is low stunt kites can be kinda difficult. But, with a little patience even an 8 yr old can do it. I know because my grandson leaned a couple months ago. If there's a kite store in your area g and ask them how to set it up. Most Kiters are really nice because once you start flying you'll want more kites.  How many is enough? One more! Anyway, The smaller rod goes in the top. The two rods with the insert go on each side of the middle staff. Be sure the lines on the kite aren't tangled. And then you insert the two toothpick, 6" to 8" depending on the kite, into the inserts. Attach the two lines, one to each side, and then watch a few vids on YT.  Remember, when the kite veers to one side pull on the opposite line. You will have many crashes so it's better to fly in a grassy field or sand. However, after a few dozen of crashes you'll be a master. A single line Delta is a whole lot easier for a beginner kite.
