You can buy the whole unit (cooker, steam plate and basket) on theshoppingchannel dot com - for 49.99 - made by Meyer. Who is Meyer? Quick search and the website has many websites across the globe, click on the US link and the page opens up with an into to all of the companies under them. Meyer is the mother company of Silverstone who make this MwPrCkr. But no where on the Silverstone website (even when linked from the Mother Company - Meyer) do they have a pressure cooker (micro or not) that includes the basket. Also in the parts section there is nothing. Conclusion: The pic on amazon is a general pic taken from the MC.

If you scratch it, it can fail without warning as it is being heated. Corning created a better product - Corningware - to address these issues. It's a ceramic similar to the tiles used on the Space Shuttle. Look for the Corningware in resale shops.
