Answer:	Wiggle and pull. It takes a little light muscle the first few times, but it gets easier as you do it more.

Answer:	Yes you can and should. This set is so fun. My boys and I added 15 feet of track on each side for a really long drag race. It goes the length of our hallway. That distance adds more drama to each race as some cars can come from behind being a better roller than starter.

Answer:	No - the Brio people are not as narrow as the animals, therefore the people can't sit properly in the cars. I guess you could lie them on their side, but then their arms get in the way. The cars are not designed for the Brio people. I am working from memory because the train set is at grandchildren's house and I can't test it right now.

Answer:	I’m not sure if there are specific cats/trains that go with it. We used the ones we already have and they work well. Even ones that are “too big” my son still puts along the tracks. The ideal size is probably matchbox cars or a little bigger.

Answer:	This was honestly my initial thought as well. I was recommended this toy from another mom and scoffed at the idea of spending $20 on "just a tube". Well I went searching on my own for similar materials to DIY this bad boy. No luck at ALL. Home Depot, Lowes, Amazon, even PVC Pipes specialty stores, no one had the materials for under $20, not if I wanted similar quality. The clear pipe is what makes this toy and those are not cheap for some odd reason, at least not that I could find. I should have saved myself the headache and just hit the buy button here.

Answer:	My son has a few Disney cars so I just checked for you. The King and the Sheriff car were too wide to fit down the ramp in the front where it splits, and the King was too long to fit around the bends in the blue loops. It does work with matchbox or hot wheels type cars though.
