Answer:	I think from reading the description and looking at other websites it is supposed to. Our Terry didn't sing either when we got it in the mail. It just said, "Little Baby Bum" when you turn it on. Buster didn't last long with singing either, maybe lasted about a month and now it just says "Little Baby Bum" as well when you turn it on. Sucks that they don't last but luckily my boy still loves them without the sounds.
