Question:	Would this set be enough for me and a friend to play against each other as first time players, or is there a wiser way to start an initial collection
Answer:	When I purchased this pack I received cards going back as far as 1995 all the way to Shadows Over Innistrad and Eldritch Moon. Basically anything from any sets older than Kaladesh can be found in this. This pack makes a great backbone to a variety of decks but you will likely need some specific cards to bolster them.

Answer:	In my lot I had a decent mix of newer with older expansion cards. I couldn't tell you off the top of my head which sets they came from though.

Answer:

As I do not remember how many land cards come with this it may be wiser to start off with a deck building kit from Walmart or any store that sells them. Also if there is a gaming store in your area that is licensed for Magic (wizards of the coast) then you should be able to get two decks for free. I think they are called starter decks but I could be wrong about that. The person at the counter should know. These decks will have land cards in them and are great for introducing someone to the game.

Answer:	Yes, but it would be just one of a small handful of items that I would recommend after playing Magic for several years. I personally would recommend this plus a Bundle Pack, so you could add ten (10) more packs to start your collection, and build your first deck with a bit more variety and better cards. I would also recommend a preconstructed Starter Set of some sort to give you two basic ready to play decks with minimal mechanics for you to literally learn the game on with a friend. All three items that I just mentioned should set you back no more than about $75 here in the US. You would get a ton of value this way, and it would absolutely ensure the minimum variety to get some real pleasure out of getting started in playing MTG. I got quickly hooked on playing the game, and most who try it do as well! hope this helps!

Answer:	Depends. I bought one of these on 8/16/16 and it came in a card box as shown. Just purchased another one on 3/12/19 and it came in a USPS Priority Mail box that the cards were too big for secured by 3 pieces of packing tape. I guess it can still be used as a card box but next to all the other 1000 card box shapes it is very oddly proportioned.

Answer:	The booster bundles do not contain Arena codes. The Planeswalker decks and Pre-Release packs do.

Answer:	Some of the booster packs in the bundle contain full art lands, otherwise there is two packets of land 20 of which are foil and the other 20 are normal
