Question:	What size are the board squares
Answer:	1 1/2 inches x 1 1/2 inches. Playing field is 12" x 12" and with the surrounding edge, the board is 15" x 15".
Question:	Can all the pieces and the chess board itself fit within the case
Answer:	Storage case wasn't designed to put the board itself in the case, just the pieces. Tried packing it up just now and if you remove the Styrofoam packing on the inside bottom of the case, it all fits. Styrofoam layer is easily removed, just lifts out - but of course you lose some protection on the bottom side.
