Answer:	We have something similar to Magformers and Powerclix and the magnatiles get far more play time. Magnatiles are expensive but my 2-and 5-year-old play with them daily (and have for several years). They stick no matter which way they are facing so they are easy to use. Both of my kids build with them with ease. My mother runs a program with children and has used them for many years without ever having to replace any. Magnatiles are easily the best toy purchase made in our house. Totally worth the money (and even more fun when you shine a flashlight through them).

As they continue to spend more time building and need to add to their collection, we recommend the 100 Piece Set. If it is for a family or classroom, we do recommend the 100 Piece Set to begin.

Answer:	They are very durable but they may be too small for a 2 year old. Magma tiles are also wonderful and have really stood the test of time. All 3 kids play with them almost every day. They are larger and can not fit in a little ones mouth.

Answer:	There's about 841 pieces to this set, it took me about 3 hours to build. was good fun and a very good size, so I've bought another too!

Answer:	I don't know, but this set was so hard to put together with horrible directions that we never completed it. If you think you are going to get the great lego instructions, you are not. Even our 15 yr old gave up, and we have put together the $100 lego helicopter. On the other hand, the men and extras were awesome. The 8 yr old still plays with them. So, yay, $40 little "Joe's".

Answer:	They are supposed to be, which is why I bought them. However, I have not yet bought Magna Tiles to add to the set.
Question:	Will Playmobil people work with this, or do you have to use the Magformer people
Answer:	These blocks do work with other magnetic tiles but they are much smaller. You can fix 9 Magna-qubix blocks on one standard magna tile but they also use different size magnets so you won’t get the same magnetic adhesion to the larger tiles. Even though you can use them with the larger tiles, I would say it isn’t ideal. But we have both sizes and the kids loves the small qubix blocks just as much as the larger magna tiles.
Question:	Are Magformers and Magmagic the same thing? Or are they interchangeable
Answer:	Yes but are considerably smaller

Answer:	No. Magna-Tiles are bigger than the Magformer squares. Also the Magformers have one magnet in the center while the Magna-Tiles have two magnets on each side not in the center. The magnets attract but the placement of the magnet make it impossible to build feasible structures.

Answer:	If he likes it at school, he'll like it at home... the question is whether you should acquire the large set or just a "starter" for now... that's up to you!

Answer:	If you still have the box it might show who makes them. We no longer have our box. If so you might could find the company that makes them online and call or email them. The only other way I know of is to replace the set
Question:	Does this small magna tiles set come in a reusable box or bag for easy transporting
Answer:	This set comes with two people (a boy and a girl), who are permanently attached to two building panels. I know of no actual Magformer people. You could use the set to build things for any toy people, provided they are big enough to not fall through the panels, which are open in the center.

Answer:	Magmagic is a knockoff of magformers

Answer:	Hi, Yes, Magna-Qubix are compatible with Magna-Tiles. While the sizes do not allow for the edges to align perfectly, the Magnets used in Magna-Qubix allow for them to be played with Magna-Tiles. We have seen many children build creations using both the Magna-Qubix and Magna-Tiles.
Question:	Does the magnets ever fall out or look like they might come out easily? I'm terrified of small children playing with magnets
Answer:	I've never seen Discovery tiles, so I don't know. I'm sorry I couldn't be of help.
Question:	What age is appropriate for this set
Answer:	I first gave these to my grandson when he was four. I have added to the set several times. He is six now, and his sister is now four. They build structures and play with them together. I would say that the peak ages are 5-7 because of the skill required in putting the pieces together. The older the child, the more intricate the building becomes. Personally, I really enjoy building with them too!
Question:	do these work with the Magna tiles? i already have one of those sets. THNX
Answer:	My son has both the 100 piece set and the 48 piece DX set and they complement one another perfectly. The 48 piece set has some different pieces such as: a large square with a door built in, an arch way, two little rings, and a flat bed with 4 wheels to build up as a car, trailer or other creative ideas. I think it would be worth getting him the other set if he loves playing with them already as it will give him a little more variety.

Question:	Could a child open up the casing and get to the magnet inside? Or are they pretty secure
Answer:	I really don't know. It looks like the sizes and shapes are the same, for the most part. The magnets are in the center of the sides with these, not on the corners, and the magformers have more rounded edges. My son has about 200 pieces of these now. Family members bought him a set with the led light and the set with 4 tires. I wish I could tell you if they'd work together.
Question:	What is best for 8 and 6 year old boys
Answer:	I recommend these. My three year old has played with these for hours and hours. He even snuck them into his sand and water table a few times and they are fine. Very well made. The magnets are well secured, so no risk of accidental ingestion either.

Answer:	I dont know what that is so i am not sure

Question:	Is there any advantage of Magnaformers brand over the less expensive versions
Answer:	The pieces themselves are big. The triangles are kind of small, but I can't see a kid swallowing them. The magnets inside the pieces are probably the biggest concern, but we've never had any of them come apart and I don't think they would ever come apart. We got the original set when my oldest was 2 and my youngest was 6 months and I didn't have any concern.
Question:	In the manual, it clearly states that there are 44 square magnets. However, I count 32 pieces only? why is it so different
Answer:	The Magformers triangles are 2 1/8" corner to corner, and the squares are 2.5" on each side. I don't know if that would work, unless you attached multiple magformers to the ones you have. I'll bet a kid can get creative and do it!
Question:	Does this set include 4 or 8 wheels? Thanks
Answer:	I purchased the Magformers for a four year old...His two younger brothers as well as the four year old himself play pretty roughly with them...I've been super impressed how well the Magformers have stood up! No sign of the magnets coming out of their position within the Magformers.
Question:	So the set comes with 4 sets of wheels? for 2 seperate vehicles? i have two children. don't want them fighting over wheels. thanks
Answer:	We got the set for our 3 year old granddaughter. However she has two sisters ages 5 and 8 and all three of them play with the set and love it. So from our experience I would say it's age appropriate for 3 to 8 year olds, maybe older.
