I don't know if that's due to washing or overuse. :) Still very usable book. |

| Answer: | It is nylon but may cause an obstruction if they get off a big enough piece. They have the “don’t leave your dog alone with this toy” disclaimer. Our pup became very ill and then required surgery followed by a lengthy hospital stay. The culprit of the blockage was a chunk of this bone. I wouldn’t recommend it. |

| Answer: | No!!!!!!!My doberman when she was 5 months ate one of the ends off and it got stuck between her stomach and intestines. It happens so fast and we immediately took it away from her when we saw the end missing. It is not safe, so do yourself a favor and don't buy it. The regular nylabones that are very hard and shaped like a bone are fine, but this puppy Ring Bone is to flexible and can easily be broken off in large pieces. We went through a week of taking her for fluids, x-rays and over $2000.00 in vet bills, but the worst was the misery she was in and because the nylabones are plastic they don't show up on xrays. Luckily our Vet was able to get it move through with the help of some barimum. If that didn't work she would have needed surgery. She lost almost 10 pounds during that period since she couldn't eat or drink, which is a lot for a 5 month old puppy. I highly suggest you do not give to your puppy. |
