Fully loosen all four head straps. Pull hair back with one hand. Bring facepiece up to face with other hand.

Step 2

While holding the facepiece in place, pull the straps over your head.

Step 3

Tighten the two bottom straps and then tighten the two top straps.

Step 4

Make sure the back of the harness is centered on the back of the head.

Positive Pressure User Seal Check

Place the palm of your hand over the opening in the exhalation valve cover and exhale gently. If facepiece bulges slightly and no air leaks are detected between the face and the facepiece, a proper seal has been obtained. If faceseal air leakage is detected, reposition the respirator on your face and/or readjust the tension of the straps to eliminate leakage and recheck seal. If you cannot achieve a proper seal, DO NOT enter the contaminated area. See your supervisor.

Negative Pressure User Seal Check Using Particulate Filters

Place your thumbs onto the center portion of the filters, restricting airflow through filters and inhale gently. If you feel facepiece collapse slightly and pull closer to your face with no leaks between the face and the facepiece, a proper seal has been obtained. If faceseal air leakage is detected, reposition the respirator on your face and/or readjust the tension of the straps to eliminate leakage and recheck seal. If you cannot achieve a proper seal, DO NOT enter the contaminated area. See your supervisor.

Question:	Where do I buy more filters for the mask
Answer:	It does not run off of "regular" size batteries if you are using the U.S. standards. A standard AAA, AA, C, and D batteries all deliver about 1.5 volts. The supplied batteries deliver about 3.7 volts. In addition the length of the supplied rechargeable batteries is basically the same as the standard D batteries (approx. 2.5"). The C battery length is approximately 1 3/4". Since the "connection" for the batteries is made by the connection between the light and the "cap" of the flashlight and the fact that the width of the opening of the barrel is approximately 3/4" neither the C, D battery would fit and all of the "standard size" batteries would be too "short" to establish the necessary connection.

Instructions for Use



How to wear:



● relax the head to the maximum length;



● Turn the headband all over to the mask lens;



● One hand support the mask, the lower jaw into the jaw at the bottom of the mask care;



● Hold the mask so that the mask is close to the face, remove the hair from the mask, and then flip the headband back to the head again;



● Tighten the two lowermost headbands, the side bands and the top bands until the seal is reached.



How to take off:



● Completely untied the bottom two headbands, and then release both sides of the headband, and then release the top of the headband;

The P100 filters are usually 99.97% good for particles of .3 microns and larger... A quick conversion is .3 microns = 300 nanometers... hence, a Coronavirus at 125 nm would probably sail right on thru being only a tad more than 1/3rd of the filtering hole size... Again, call 3M, where you’ll probably get the correct answer, but watch out for the unscientific guesses here... 1 micron = 10-6 meters 1 nanometer = 10-9 meters where the -6 and the -9 are the powers that these are raised to... There are a 1000 nanometers in 1 micron.
Question:	Is it compatible with standard 3m™ particulate filters 2000 series
Answer:	According to the 3M "Respirator Selection Guide" (pg. 86 of the 2015 guide), oxalic acid requires an OV (Organic Vapor) filter and an N95 (Particulate) filter. This cartridge, 60923, has OV, AG (Acid Gas) and P100 (Particulate) filters in the cartridge, so the answer to your question is yes, this cartridge will 'work' (filter) for oxalic acid (bearing in mind that the filter has IDLH and OEL restrictions that have to be met for the efficacy of the cartridge to be insured).

Answer:	3M makes a prescription spectical frame that fits over the nose piece. Your Rx can be made to fit into this frame. You cannot wear regular glasses without breaking the face seal gasket.

Fully loosen all six head straps. Hold the front of the facepiece with one hand and the straps/comfort cradle away from the facepiece with the other hand, creating an opening for the head. Pull the respirator assembly down over the head. Place the nose in the nose cup and chin in the chin cup area then press the facepiece firmly and evenly against the face.

Step 2

While holding the facepiece in place, pull the straps over your head.

Tighten the two bottom straps.

Step 4

Tighten the two middle straps, then the two top straps. Make sure the back of the harness is centered on the back of the head.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 twice - once to position and second to secure the facepiece seal.

Positive Pressure User Seal Check

Remove the exhalation valve cover. Place the palm of your hand over the exhalation valve and exhale gently. If the facepiece bulges slightly and no air leaks are detected between the face and the facepiece, a proper seal check has been obtained. If faceseal air leakage is detected, reposition the respirator on your face and/or readjust the tension of the straps to eliminate leakage and recheck seal. Replace exhalation valve cover. How to wear:

● relax the head to the maximum length;

● Turn the headband all over to the mask lens;

● One hand support the mask, the lower jaw into the jaw at the bottom of the mask care;

● Hold the mask so that the mask is close to the face, remove the hair from the mask, and then flip the headband back to the head again;

● Tighten the two lowermost headbands, the side bands and the top bands until the seal is reached.

How to take off:
