Answer:	To turn it on, you must cycle through the different modes. After it stays on a mode for more that 3 seconds, the next button press will turn it off. This allows you to turn it off without cycling through the modes.

Hook the bottom straps together behind your neck.

Answer:	You will need the facepiece plus: (1) an organic cartridge (for the paint), and (2) a dust filter. You would be wise to Google: "3m 5200 respirator guide," there you will find a nice PDF document which will answer all your questions. EXCEPT fit. OSHA and 3M want you to be "fitted" to get the right size. My guess is, you will be OK with a small.

Answer:	Actually, the other answers are not entirely correct. Airborne transmission of the ebola virus is possible. Although it is usually passed, as was stated by the others, via bodily fluids such as saliva and blood, if an infected person sneezes, the infected particles are spewed into the air and can, and HAVE, infected someone nearby who inhaled the airborne particles. However, this has been shown to be rare and infection generally is by way of direct contact. As for this being any protection, you'd have to use the correct filters and/or other apparatus. Viruses are extremely small, even compared to bacteria. In order to prevent them from passing through the filter, you'd need one specifically designed for that purpose. Offhand I'm not sure any of those listed are suitable. To be absolutely sure, I'd check with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and ask their advice. That's only if you're absolutely set on subjecting yourself to exposure to this deadly, and rather nasty viral contagion. Of course, just traveling to an area known to have had cases of ebola would require numerous permits and safety measures taken ahead of time. Personally, unless you know a whole lot more about it, I'd steer clear. Ignorance about ebola and its infective capabilities will only make you an easy target. I've got bachelor's degrees in biochemistry and biology and I wouldn't go within 500 miles of an infected area. Why would you? And if you live in the United States, there's no need for protection as there are no present cases here and those traveling into America are checked for signs of illness from infectious diseases before being allowed on the plane, and again before getting off. Answer:	I ordered mine April 10. USPS tracking shows they will arrive May 28. The site showed they had "shipped " and gave me a tracking number about a week after I ordered. USPS had that number, but no product until after May 21. Don't know what happened in the time between.

Answer:	No label identifying where it was made. Per tracking it started in Chino, CA. I have received other items with tracking from Chino, CA and they did indicate made in China. US Customs requires identification as country of origin. This item has none.

After each day I wash the one I used by hand and hang to dry the next day I did buy a new packet of inserts because they’re only good for a few days. Answer:	I had to google "CSGO", but if you mean Counter Strike, these probably aren't for you if you need to chat with other players. There's no microphone on these. You may want to check out the Status Audio HD One headphones that do have a mic on one of the two detachable cables that come with that set.If you don't need to chat, these headphones are very nice for solo gaming - that's what I mainly use them for.

Answer:	hello manderson!I wouldn't say tons of bleed, and isolation is there. But obviously at louder volumes the headphones will leak, and they aren't noise-cancelling or anything. For tracking drums I'm going to assume you'll be monitoring with these (correct me if I'm wrong)? If so I wouldn't recommend them (trust me, I'm a drummer too), instead I'd recommend the Shure SE215 IEMs. But for anything else like listening to music and mixing these are a no-brainer.I hope this helps!

Answer:	If you are trying to protect yourself from fumes I would strongly suggest using filter cartridges designed for fumes & gases. I think the one's that are supplied are for dust only. NIOSH rated filters are recommended over other standards in North America, although there may be other international safety standards you can look for that will be applicable.
Question:	Can I use this with pesticides
Answer:	As long as you get a good seal with your face, any respirator in this class will deal with particulate dust. If you've got a ZZ Top beard, you'll have problems with getting a good seal with any mask. To be honest, if all you are worried about is dust, this is overkill as you can get simple cloth/fabric masks that will deal with all but the finest dust particles, but I do prefer the suspension system you usually get with half-mask respirators over the thin elastic straps on a simple fabric dust mask. Depending on the filters you use, these respirators will deal with organics and chemicals, so it's really intended for doing things like spraying paint, pesticides. Being plastic, if you are using this outdoors/elevated temps, your face will sweat more than what you would in a fabric mask, but it's mostly what you're more bothered by.

The chemical cartridges are specific to exposure. 3m has a page on their website titled "3m PPE Safety Solutions", this page will direct you to a matrix for specific exposure/cartridge matching. "Warning" before entry into an OSHA/NIOSH PEL or IDLH atmosphere, a fit test is suggested and I would say mandatory for personal safety. This respirator uses an advanced silicone material that provides a softer feel on the face. A unique adjustment design helps reduce pressure points on the face for even more comfort. The 3M™ Cool Flow™ Valve helps make breathing easier and can offer cooler and drier comfort for the wearer. Head harness may be adjusted to drop down when not in active use (allows respirator to be removed without taking off hard hat). The exhalation valve cover directs exhaled breath and moisture downward while helping protect the valve area from debris while also making for easier cleaning. Recommended applications include abatement, painting, welding, chemical handling, construction, utilities, mining, pharmaceutical, and smelting.

NIOSH, a Federal government regulatory agency, has tested and approved the 7500 Series with 3M™ cartridges, filters or supplied air systems to help reduce breathing certain airborne contaminants. Question:	What do you use to store or carry this when traveling? It came in a ziploc bag with no protective padding
Answer:	This mask will seal almost perfectly. Here are the two major issues: 1. Are you using the correct filter. If it is something you "smell" the 2091 filter only removes particulate. You need an element that will remove organic vapors. The 2097 element will take out some of it, but it is not an OVAG filter. 2. Are you clean shaven, and is the mask adjusted properly? I have used these for many years, in industry and now for the CCP virus, they are virtually 100% effective if used properly.
Question:	So ive noticed i can still smell what i am working with faintly. is this the opening at the bottom of mask? new filters too. anyone else get this
Answer:	This one is made with silicone that seals against your face which is more comfortable and durable. If you plan on wearing it often or for long periods of time get this one.
Question:	What is the difference between this mask and the 3m(tm) half facepiece respirator assembly
Answer:	A set of the 3M P100 filters work great. I use the 2091 model for woodworking. The P is for particulate and the 100 means it filters 100%. For anything with fumes like finishes I use a paint set of filters like the 3M 6001
Question:	Even after reading the q&a i'm still confused as to which filter i need. i just need dust particle filtration for woodworking. shape/model
Answer:	If you have ever worn a half piece respirator then you'll know your size, but if not then I would suggest getting a disposable respirator for test fitment purposes before dishing out the money for this full face respirator.

Question:	Why does the filter sponge and cotton not fit on the respirator
Answer:	Yes, but I would recommend just spraying with dilute bleach or ~70% ethanol and wiping out and letting stand for decontamination instead.

Answer:	Yes, mine actually came with 2 sets of pre-filters
Question:	Can I use this mask while working with resin
Answer:	Hi, I have used this for automotive paint, sanding various woods with 320 / 400 grit paper = fine wood dust ! and mowing grass and pollen filled weeds, this works great !! but I have not done masonry, my guess, it would do the trick! When I am done for the day, I use a tissue to remove the condensation inside then put in a ziploc bag, cartridges last longer in my experience.
