Answer:	It has a standard UBS receptacle similar to a type 2 on a computer or laptop. I got it for charging a cell phone but I would think it should work for a GPS as well. I have tried it with my iPhone and it takes a lot of cranking to get the battery level to increase even a litttle so be aware of that. It does seem to charge but not as nearly as quick as I would have expected or desired. Hope that helps.

Answer:	I just measured it. At a decent cranking rate, with a load of a 5 amp/hour USB battery (intended to charge USB devices), it gives about 0.5 amps (2.5 watts), which is the maximum you get from a normal computer USB 2.0 port. If you crank really fast, it seemed to get up to about 0.6 amps. The voltage seemed to stay around 5 volts, no matter how fast you cranked, so seems to be regulated. This is a lot less than some USB charging bricks, which can deliver as much as 2.1 amps (10 watts). This also may be iffy at charging an iPad, although charging a separate USB battery and using that to charge the high current drain device may work (although my battery says 0.7 amp load maximum). The bottom line is you should expect charging rates similar to plugging your device into a computer USB port. There is crank generator device on Amazon for about $50 that claims to give 10 watts at 120 volts which you plug your AC brick into, although I don't own it so can't measure it's reality. You can instantly feel the resistance turning the crank for 2.5 watts, and turning the crank for 10 watts may take muscle and get tiring fast.

Question:	What material is the outer front part? hard plastic or hard rubber
Answer:	These fit my calves but BARELY fit my thighs. Like they work but that will be the fail point eventually when the sliver of Velcro that reaches around my thigh stops sticking. Answer:	I work in concrete restoration, usually on industrial sites (catch basins, pillars, reinforced cinder block walls) a lot of grinding, cutting, applying polycrete, fiberglass, dura shield, cov-rez, and other such epoxy products. I'm working on a massive terrazzo demo and through all this work kneeling on 7/8 anchor bolts, sharp and jagged debris, for months now and these knee pads have only fine scratches. No chunks or gouged spots. These knee pads are the real deal. I feel nothing I kneel on or in. They're holding up extremely well, they don't need constant readjusting, I wear them all day 10hrs straight on large pours and I very rarely have to adjust the straps or reposition them. They fit so snug I've never had any issues with materials or debris falling in behind them, even ultra-fine silica sand when I'm broadcasting walls or floors has a hard time getting in or behind my straps. I love them so much I have 2 pairs, one for demo work and one for finish work.

Answer:	I would say yes... i am 6' 7" and about 300 pounds. I rowed for four years and have huge ham hocks for quads. It has several ways to lock in the straps around you. It has little orange clips that slide into slots, it also has velcro in every strap... so you lock in the clips, and then adjust the velcro for the clips and connect the the straps on the top and bottom together with velcro.I hope this helps.

Answer:	I work in concrete restoration, usually on industrial sites (catch basins, pillars, reinforced cinder block walls) a lot of grinding, cutting, applying polycrete, fiberglass, dura shield, cov-rez, and other such epoxy products. I'm working on a massive terrazzo demo and through all this work kneeling on 7/8 anchor bolts, sharp and jagged debris, for months now and these knee pads have only fine scratches. No chunks or gouged spots. These knee pads are the real deal. I feel nothing I kneel on or in. They're holding up extremely well, they don't need constant readjusting, I wear them all day 10hrs straight on large pours and I very rarely have to adjust the straps or reposition them. Answer:	I would say yes... i am 6' 7" and about 300 pounds. I rowed for four years and have huge ham hocks for quads. It has several ways to lock in the straps around you. It has little orange clips that slide into slots, it also has velcro in every strap... so you lock in the clips, and then adjust the velcro for the clips and connect the the straps on the top and bottom together with velcro.I hope this helps.
