Question:	What’s the difference between yours and normal working noise cancelling headphones
Answer:	It likely depends on how hot and for how long. I have grabbed a few hot trays with them for a short period of time and have grabbed a metal coffee roaster drum out of 450+ degree oven. They aren't as ideal as good ol' thick oven mitts and do transmit a bit of heat but certainly do the job.

Question:	Are these made in the usa? if not, where are they made
Answer:	Yes they are very light weight, very warm, very comfortable and all synthetic and cruelty free. I bought 4 pairs. One for hiking, one for shopping and two as house boots. Super great.

Answer:	I have found them waterproof - and very warm. I did an additional spray of water protector made for Nylon - just to be safe but had warn them prior to the spray and had no issues - wonderful boot going to order another pair.

Question:	Do these contain any metal? I need to wear them during surgery, and no metal is allowed
Answer:	Timberland White Ledge boots are not insulated and so are not particularly warm in and of themselves. However, because they're mostly leather with few seams, they are very waterproof (many boots claim to be waterproof but are not--too many seams and non-leather parts) and keep your feet dry which helps keep them comfortable. You can buy insulated boots, but unless you're like my sister-in-law (her feet are always cold), they will be too warm in the summer. I much prefer to wear a non-insulated boot and then make them feel warmer/cooler by wearing wool socks in winter and cotton socks in summer. As long as your feet stay dry and you have good moisture-wicking wool socks, this sock method works for me in the winter. Make sure there's enough room in the boots for thicker wool socks--cramped feet will always feel cold.
Question:	The product title says 36dB, but the comparison with the other ear muffs of this brand in the description says 29dB reduction. Which is it
Answer:	Yes, it works on snow. It is the very first shot boot I ever have. And if you notice I use "IS" not "WAS", because I am still wearing it now, since 2004. It is 15 years already. I only use it in winter time and raining day when the weather condition will not be safe with regular sneakers. I use this boot as snow day shoes in each year, for 15 years now, and the shoe is still in very good condition. I am thinking to get a second pair in different color now. BUT, I will not give this boot a 5 -star rating due to the very poor design of the show lace. For no reason, this round shoe lace constantly got loose when I was walking. After many years' upset with the original round shoe lace, I replaced it with regular flat shoe lace and it works very well now. Therefore, I suggest you also get a regular flat shoe lace ready when the round lace is not properly holding up, so you can just replace it.

Answer:	Yes, with socks they should fit well. I ordered an 8 for a normal 7.5 wear.

Answer:	It's an nylon type fabric. You can buy water proof spray from any shoe store. Mine haven't leaked at all. I will spray them as well. You will love them!!

Answer:	Having bought a number of LED headlamps, brightness is important. First, 360 over 315 or even 260 isn't a big draw. Second, the important factors are reliability and battery life. Some manufacturers do better than others, top ones Petzl and Black Diamond ... similar to LED household bulb efficiencies (lumens/watt). But let's say they are all equal in efficiency. This means a 360 lumen lamp will use much more than a 260, so if the 260 is 'plenty good', fewer batteries to buy. Think of this as a battery eater ... like razor blades, film (dating myself), printer cartridges. It may not be the razor or camera that is the dollar drain, it's the batteries. Even if you buy a 360, it should have a lower setting that is usable because your batteries will be eaten slower.
