Answer:	It is divided into two states: open and closed. It has two different colors divided into purple light and red light. Violet light can detect whether there is cat moss by illuminating the cat. Govee WiFi Water Leak Detector

Using the connection between the gateway, water sensors, and Govee Home App, you can monitor any leakages on your phone while you are away from home. There are no annoying wires, which makes monitoring even easier. Open the App, Connect to H5040.

Press the pairing button for 3 seconds until the red and blue light flash alternately and then input the WiFi password on your phone. Please note any special characters, blank spaces, and so on.

Connect Your WiFi Gateway

Follow the app prompt to connect your WiFi "Govee_Gateway_xxxx" with your router (doesn't support 5G WiFi). Place the water sensors in the detecting location and name each water alert .eg. basement, kitchen. Then you can begin to monitor the water leakage on your phone!

Monitor Water Leakage on Your Phone

After a successful connection, you can place the sensors and start to monitor water leakage on your App. Note: Please ensure the App and your phone settings are set to allow "push" notifications. The gateway will not send push notifications if the leak happens again in 90 seconds.

Question:	Is there any monthly or yearly fee to connect to a service
Answer:	It is hard to silence the alarm unless you make a minor modification in advance. Don't wait until the 130 dB siren is going before you work out how to disable the alarm. I've had it blaring in my ears while I frantically try to open the case to disconnect the battery, only to find that opening it is very difficult, even with the aid of a tool such as a flat-head screwdriver. What I've done since is filed down the locking tabs slightly, just enough that the plastic case still locks but is much easier to open when the alarm sounds, so that the battery can be disconnected. Then you can address the water leak in relative peace.
Question:	I don't see any rope sensors which is bad for covering areas like washers, fridge, and water heaters. Any rope solutions I'm unaware of with this
Answer:	The wire has no gauge markings- printed or imprinted. Comparing the wire side by side with a wire stripper, appears to be 18 gauge and it is definitely stranded copper. It is most assuredly no larger than 18 gauge so I would lean towards 18 to 20. I don’t know your application as to why you would need to extend the original length but I can tell you that the device is really loud when activated - if that helps you any.

Answer:	There are 3 ways to connect the extension cable to YoLink Leak Sensor. 1. Soldering with a soldering iron: (1) Use a soldering iron to solder 2 common wires (regardless of positive or negative) to a set of probes on the Leak Sensor (a set of probes on the top of the leak sensor is recommended) (2) Fix the leak sensor in one place (If you use double-sided tape to paste the bottom of the leak sensor to the wall, the thickness of the double-sided tape must be higher than the height of the footpad on the bottom of the leak sensor (>1.5mm), otherwise, the leak sensor may not stick firmly ) (3) Place the 2 wires in the area to be detected. The 2 wires must be separated and fixed with a certain distance (10~15mm) But please kindly note: If you use a soldering iron to solder the wire, it may damage the two probes of the original device, which may cause the probes to rust in a humid environment. 2. Use glue or tape to fix (1) Use glue or tape to stick 2 ordinary wires (regardless of positive or negative) to a set of probes on the leak sensor (a set of probes on the top of the leak sensor is recommended) a. Stick the wire to the end of the probe and roll it into a circle or ring to expand the contact area & assist in fixing; b. It is recommended to use glue/tape with high viscosity, which must be firmly adhered to! (2) Fix the leak sensor in one place (If you use double-sided tape to paste the bottom of the leak sensor to the wall, the thickness of the double-sided tape must be higher than the height of the footpad on the bottom of the leak sensor (>1.5mm), otherwise, the leak sensor may not stick firmly) (3) Place the 2 wires in the area to be detected. The 2 wires must be separated and fixed with a certain distance (10~15mm) But please kindly note: If the glue/adhesive tape fails to stick the wire firmly, it may cause the wire to fall off and the leak sensor may not work properly. 3. Answer:	The power cord is 6 feet 3 inches. Be careful which version of this 220V welder you get.You want the most up to date model with the most power. The are not all the same.
Question:	What is the best location for placement in a bathroom, considering a toilet or sink could potentially leak
Answer:	You can weld 1/4 inch material. The weld joint may need to be beveled for full penetration.If you really want to weld 1/4 inch material easily I would use a Miller 211 machine which welds up to 3/8" thick material.I know because that is what I have now. A miller 211. The Miller has auto set which takes the guess work out.The Miller 211 is 110V or 220V. The Miller has a blue light that blinks when you need to be using 220V for 1/4 or thicker material.
Question:	What does homekit add to the use of this product? does a homekit hub replace this product's hub

Answer:	Yes. I bought 2 sets and did not pair them with anything. They have saved me a LOT of headache and heartache more than once. Battery only. They have detected real leaks I did not know I had. They have detected the slightest amount of water that was dropped on the basement floor and trickled down to where one sat (false alarm, but amazing sense of security and confidence). I even had a plumber accidentally kick on into my sump pump well. It sent out an audible alert, even under a foot of water. Awesome!

Answer:	I just bought a set. You adjust the volume by pressing the button twice quickly and the light will flash. The volume level cycles H-M-L and then mute (don’t why anyone would mute it). Hope this helps.

Answer:	I would think that a 9 Volt lithium would be safer than an alkaline. These water detectors are supposed to signal low battery life. But you have to hear it and in fact it has to signal. The extra money for the lithium is worth it. There is no reason not to use lithium.

Answer:	I have owned my only 1 week. It’s a 9 volt battery and my guess depends on the quality of battery and how often it is triggered or alarm sounding. I would guess that you should test it regularly and replace it when the low battery alarm sounds or 1 year, whichever is shortest.
Question:	How long the batteries last
Answer:	There are 2 small metal nodes that you can see on the outside in the picture. When moisture connects the 2 nodes the alarm sounds. I test these devices with a moistened finger, not much water at all. Very high humidity can trigger them as well, that is, humidity above atmospheric norm.

Answer:	I'm not certain without some research, but my guess is no. That's a 250amp gun and likely too big for a 135amp machine. Also it being a 15' gun, it will likely overload/overwork the wire feed motor and drive gears on that MM135 machine. Your MM135 was originally an 8' or 10' lead and probably a 120Vac machine. It's simply not enough machine to feed that big ol' torch and gun.

However other people at Kidde say that practically all Kidde's will replace the FADC, but you may have to swap the wiring harness, pretty simple if you can run a breaker box and a wire nut. I would call the help desk at 1-800-888-6788 to verify your present situation. Make sure you have the model NFO, of course, and the manufacturing date stamped on the back.

Answer:	It does not leak, but the gauge and/or the release valve is inaccurate. Sometimes I could wind the pressure up to what the gauge said was 50 PSI with no problems, other times, the release valve would activate at that level. And sometimes the valve would blow at lower PSIs, so the gauge would read 40 PSI but the release valve would engage. For the record, I believe the documentation says the valve should engage at 45 PSI. I don't remember. I ended up buying a regulator from www.micromatic.com, and have been much happier with it.
Question:	will it float in water
Answer:	My Kegco came with a dial for the pressure. It has a plus and a minus on it and that is where I adjust it (see the picture). If you did not get this knob then most likely you would have to use a wrench or screw driver. On the old regulator I did have to use a screw driver and the adjustment was hard to make. If you don't have the new Kegco regulator it is worth the purchase.

Answer:	Yes, remove the hi pressure gauge and put a 1" or 2" extension pipe where the gauge was. Make sure that the threds on the extension are going the right way. They will be left or right. Than add the second regulator to the end of the extension.

Detection & Alerts

Battery Installation & Low Battery

The Zircon Leak Alert WiFi water detector includes one 3V (CR123A) lithium battery. Remove the plastic PULL tab strip from the battery compartment before use.

To access the battery compartment, grasp the base of the detector with one hand, placing your thumb and middle finger on the indented battery access grooves. Squeeze both sides of the bottom half of the case. Lift and detach the top cover.

During the initial configuration of your Leak Alert WiFi, you may receive a 'Low Battery Alert' notification to your configured email address(es) as a result of a temporary dip in the battery voltage during the configuration process. This is not uncommon. The battery will quickly recover its voltage once the configuration process is complete and the detector enters sleep mode.

In the event of an actual low battery, the Leak Alert WiFi will chirp every 30 seconds between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time, and one email notification will be sent per 24-hour period.

Email Notifications

Email notifications will be sent as long as the detector is within range of your Wi-Fi router. Upon successful configuration, email notifications will be sent to confirm configuration, when a leak is detected, and when the battery is low and/or has been replaced. Each email will contain the detector’s name and time stamp.

To receive an optional event log summary every 6 days,check the option box 'Send Log Every 6 Days' in the 'Device' screen during configuration. The Event Log reports the last 20 notifications sent, including anytime there was a lost connection to the router, upon reconnection to the Internet.
