Answer:	I’m 6’ and 207lbs, and it seems plenty sturdy for me. As far as height, it should have plenty of range for you.

Answer:	The triangular-shaped, bicycle-style seat is generally preferred by the larger and/or heavier drummers, which would include pretty much anyone over 250 lbs. Unfortunately, many drum thrones look exactly alike when viewed as black & white photographs online. The less-expensive thrones are only designed to accommodate children weighing up to 150 lbs. Conventional drum thrones can safely handle most adults in the 150-250 pound range. Anyone heavier than that should definitely look into the triangular-shaped seats - that can certainly cost up to several hundred dollars (ouch!) - but can safely accommodate an adult weighing in at 350 lbs. Another alternative would be to consider the kind of seats that are intended to be used as replacement seats in pleasure craft (motor boats).

Answer:	It swivels if you loosen up the wing nut, but there are no swivel bearings. It feels a little loose when is swivels. My son likes to loosen the wing nut to make it swivel. I prefer it not swiveling though. It's easy enough to loosen or tighten the wing nut. It's a large thick metal chrome plated wing nut, so it's no big deal to adjust it.

Answer:	It does not. once you tighten the bottom part. The back rest, that depends on how you sit, or if you are use to playing really high, meaning the seat extended all the way up, also your physical height has some part in it. I am a short person 5'6" so use the throne very high up, and do sit back for some sequences. I do both, lean forward and sit back. but the back rest is not adjustable, that would have been nice.

Answer:	Hi there, we purchased this for my grandson (4 years old) and cannot for the life of us adjust it lower even though we were told it adjusts. Personally I am not very happy with it. Sorry I can't be of much more help.

Answer:	It's adjustable. The lowest height is about 18 inches & it goes, maybe, 1 inches higher.

Answer:	They are "mechanical" sounding. Ours isn't very old, but I would venture to guess, at some point it will start making noise. I bought it for a kid to play guitar and use for a keyboard without peddles. If you're using it as a drum throne, it's going to end up making some sort of groan or squeak type noise. If you're a vibrant drummer, buy a sturdier throne than this. This one is perfect for beginner/low stress type use. If you're on the edge playing keyboard, it's also probably going to end up with some sort of groan, especially if you're using peddles at all.
