However, the headlamp is dimmable and it always lights on ypur eye level, you can adjust the brightness for close up work. Q2, as the Orbit uses built in battery , you cannot change a spare battery. Answer:	One mode of operation is "hands free" on/off. it transmits a signal that reflects off your hand to turn the light off or on.
Question:	Is this suitable for kids? because I want to get them for my grandkids
Answer:	The light from the headlamp is very bright white and blinding if looked at directly. That would be the only con that I can think of for kids use. I have two and they are way brighter than the ones I used in the military but not as durable looking. Time will tell.
Question:	What does indicator light mean when it's red
Answer:	it means it's charging. when it turns green, it means that the power is full.
Question:	Can you turn on red light with one button press? Don't want to have to cycle through all modes each time and ruin my night vision
