Answer:	I think it should be a good use for that, I use it at home with non vented gas fireplace. Running the fireplace for extensive times raises CO level and I could see it with this tool. Answer:	USB 2.0 can go much further, and the power rating has been listed everywhere from 7 to 14db, I would estimate it's around 10 to 12. I get full signal off a hotel that is 1/8th of a mile away. And I can connect to several that are a bit further out. It isn't super high powered, but it does an excellent job of beefing up the signal. I got 1 to 2 bars without it, full with it, and that is inside my home, outside I can find several wifi hotspots I can't even see without it.

Answer:	While a driver disk is included which also contains a Linux distro, most of it is in Chinese/Korean. I used this device with windows 7, no drivers were needed, the OS found and installed it immediately. I would recommend that anyone using this unit with vista/xp be fairly competent in finding and installing generic drivers before purchasing. Once it is installed it performs very well, I found several additional networks and went from barely 1 bar to full signal on a network that is located at least 1/8th of a mile from my home.

Answer:	This is basically two pieces, each of which must plug into a coax connector (eg, RJ45) of the wiring you are locating. One part, the transmitter, which I believe is the longer piece that houses the battery, plugs into the outside wire in your scenario. The other part, the receiver, has a small speaker built in the bottom. You would need to connect it to each of the wires in your attic until it emits a high-pitched beep. If the wires in your attic are not ends (eg a bundle of wires, middle of the wires) this product would not work unless you cut each wire and installed a coax connector, at which point I think you would have kind of a mess on your hands.

The KN-COPP-LPM is an essential device to help warn you and your family of dangerous carbon monoxide levels in your home. This alarm measures the exposure to carbon monoxide over time; it is designed to sound at 85 decibels at 10 feet when it detects 70 ppm (parts per million) of CO for 60 to 240 minutes, 150 ppm for 10 to 50 minutes, or 400 ppm for 4 to 15 minutes. The easily visible digital display indicates the level of CO that the unit is sensing, and it updates the status every 15 seconds for timely and accurate readings. Its free-standing design allows for attachment to a wall or placement on a counter or nightstand for convenient and comprehensive protection. The KN-COPP-LPM also includes a slide-out battery door that provides immediate access to the power source as well as a battery safeguard that makes it difficult to close the cover without batteries installed. Answer:	Light turns off on mine as well once i unplug but i just plugged it back in a tested it and it started beeping and went back to red

Answer:	The alarm never went off in ours and the battery was charged when we got it. Its a 10 yr battery so I think your product is defective.

Answer:	Not sure, but my suggestion would be to replace the battery. What good is a battery backup if your battery is low?
