Answer:	There are two possible causes. The unit was not zeroed out upon activation or you do have a very low level of gas in your home atmosphere, with the first being my best guess. Unplug and move and re-check the reading. If this does not resolve the issue send it back for a new one. Mine has worked well for 6 months so far.

They don't have any information printed on the case - no manufacturer name, no instructions, no UL approved indicator, etc. These were made in China which is usually okay but I am not comfortable in relying on them to protect my family. I will be researching further and looking for better detectors that can be trusted.

Question:	Mine doesn't beep when I plug it in. The yellow light comes on but never flashes, so is it working

It will detect carbon monoxide every 150 seconds, while it is checking carbon monoxide, the yellow light long. If the carbon monoxide is over 100 PPM, the red light flashing and the alarm will beeps, or the yellow light off and wait until the next detection. So the yellow light comes and last long indicates the charger is detecting carbon monoxide, it doesn't beep, it indicates that the carbon monoxide concentration in car is not over 100 PPM. Answer:	Mine lasted 7 and a half years. Bought in Feb of 2011 and reached end of life (beeping and "END" display) on Sept 27, 2018.

The new Kidde KN-COPP--LPM carbon monoxide alarm is the only battery-operated alarm that includes a digital display feature. This key feature adds an advanced level of protection that you have come to expect in a Kidde manufactured product. The battery operated CO alarm includes multiple mounting options, allowing installation on a wall or tabletop. This alarm has been carefully designed and tested to detect CO concentration in a residential environment. It provides continuous monitoring of CO levels, even during power outages when many CO incidents occur. The digital display feature allows for easy viewing of carbon monoxide levels from 30-999 PPM (parts per million). The KN-COPP-LPM will also detect and store concentration CO levels as low as 11 and up to 999 PPM with its peak level memory display. This alarm includes a snap-on cover that gives immediate access to the batteries and a safety feature that makes it difficult to close the cover without the batteries being installed. Answer:	The alarm never went off in ours and the battery was charged when we got it. Its a 10 yr battery so I think your product is defective.

Answer:	Not sure, but my suggestion would be to replace the battery. What good is a battery backup if your battery is low?

Question:	When I unplug this device the green light goes off even though the batteries are installed as a backup. Is that normal
Answer:	It's about 5 1/2 in from hinge to hinge ~ 14.5 cm. It does provide full cover. The foam is flush with my face without being uncomfortable. It however is not waterproof. The foam has air slots so it can breathe. I've used these for Chemistry lab as well as wood working, and they work great.

Answer:	They stay on surprisingly well! I use them for my dog grooming business. They are light weight so that works good for me. They might be a bit too light for sports. If you got hit with a ball they would probably crack and potentially cut you.

Answer:	Loss in a co-ax is a function of frequency. Assuming we are talking about the 12” patches. At 1ft of RG58 run 14MHz(20m band) it has a 0.013dB loss, at 440MHz (70cm band) it has 0.08dB loss... which yeah if you add everything up it could be rather substantial. As a patch cable though. If you want to try patching with a LMR400UF, that’s all on you, but you can’t beat the flexibility of RG58 If you’re going to attempt to run say 100ft of RG58 on 70cm yeah... 90% of your power goes to de-icing the feed line. Answer:	Hello. It comes with the first set of batteries as a courtesy. The batteries have to be changed every 6 months to a year with new batteries. Please read the owner's manual on what batteries to use in this alarm.
Question:	Does this monitor display (lcd presumably) post a co level at all times? or do i have to press a button on the monitor to get a current level
Answer:	It will show a number if it reaches 10ppm if it drops below that it will show 0 again. You can click the peak button to see what the highest ppm it has been at. You can also clear the peak level memory back to 0 if you want.
