Answer:	Just to expand slightly on prior answers, normally a residential service feed is 240 volts between the two incoming hot legs. There is also a neutral leg, which (hopefully) has zero potential with reference to ground. The voltage between either one of the hot legs and the neutral leg is 120 volts. The 120 volt circuits in your house are connected to one or the other of the two hot legs, and only one. An attempt is made to assign circuits to the two hot legs in a way that will roughly balance the load between them. The other side of a 120 volt circuit is connected to the neutral leg. There is additionally a safety ground run with the circuit, which also ties into the panel. Certain devices require more power (work product of current and voltage) than is practical to deliver using a 120 volt circuit. Common examples are your clothes dryer, and your electric stove. These devices are powered by both hot legs, with a difference in potential of 240 volts. This water heater is also such a device.STRONG BUT FRIENDLY WARNING: If you did not already know this, please don't make wiring this water heater your learning opportunity with electricity. Answer:	The National Electrical Code requires conductors and overcurrent protection to be sized at 100% of the manufacturer's branch circuit recommendation for tankless electric water heaters. A 60 amp breaker is the same price as a 40 or 50, it is the wire that costs more. #6 AWG wire is required for a 60 amp circuit. If you undersize the wire it could overheat and catch fire. Answer:	I bought model V65EN. It came with a wired digital controller. The installer did not run the wire into the house and mount the controller indoors. He simply set the controller at 120 degrees and left the controller inside the unit. If I want to change the temp, I have to take the cover of the unit.

Question:	How do know which size to buy? We will supply two bathrooms, dish washer, clothes washer. What size should I choose
Answer:	I noted someone below stating they got the largest one and they can only run one water source at a time. My guess is they installed it wrong by not getting the electric hooked up right, or maybe the unit was just defective, or they live in Alaska. I went under size with an Eco 27 a few years ago because that’s all my electric panel could handle. We have zero issues in the summer. During winter months we can only run one shower at a time and have to slowly fill a tub (maybe 3/4 fill speed). To save as much money as I am on electric bill and have unlimited shower lengths (only 1 person at a time mid-Dec to mid-March) is totally worth it. On here today because I’m thinking of upping my panel size so was thinking of going with a larger one now. Regardless, CCRC’s experience with the largest unit not working is nothing like the experience I’ve had, and again I intentionally undersized mine for the house. The website has a clear chart to explain size you need based on number of water fixtures in your home and ground water temperature.
Question:	Can this unit supply a 3,700 sq foot home with 3 1/2 baths
Answer:	In the lower states it can, but in the northern states, multiple simultaneous users, it will be overloaded. If you can afford a 3,700 square foot home, then you can place a unit in each appropriate demand zone and be very glad you did. I love mine, live in KY, get great supply when the water is above 60 degrees, and then it slows the flow as the temperature drops. I have dishwasher, washing machine, garden tube, 2 showers, 3 sinks and 4 people. It is better than great in the summer, okay spring and fall, and we are conservative in the winter.
Question:	What is the power consumption of this tank-less heater
Answer:	The instantaneous power consumption while the hot water is running is quite high (up to 18kW or 27kW depending on which model you’re looking at on this page). However, when no hot water is being used, the power consumption is 0 (or a minuscule amount to run an LED light or something). The total power consumption over the course of several days or longer should be much lower than a tank heater but the short term power usage while the heater is making hot water will be much higher than a tank heater. It’s just that the unit sits idle most of the time while a tank heater will use power fairly frequently even when no hot water is needed as the water in the tank cools off over time and needs to be re-heater fairly constantly

Question:	When installing this with the Ubbink horizontal concentric kit is a condensate collector needed in addition to the 12 or 21" kit? Finding mixed result
Answer:	I would say yes as I understand it the concentric is just the air intake and exhaust you would have condensation either way. I have mine draining into a reservoir with a pump that pumps it to the drain. If you install withount it will just blow water on the ground and there's your answer.

Answer:	It's 10 gal/min... if you have a shower that is NOT a water saver and uses 6 gal/min... someone is going to miss out, no problem on the 45 deg rise, but we find that 130 deg is more desirable and still no problem in Albuquerque where the water temp MAY go into the 30s but most likely not less than about 45... Question:	what does "condensing" mean in this case
Answer:	I can't stop laughing after reading the answers + there are 11 people with less clue who found the "explanations" useful... Guys, please allow me to explain the process: The condensation units have a secondary heat exchanger which takes the exhaust from regular 80% efficiency and "works" the water again in order to heat it even more, while cooling down the exhaust. Doing so the exhaust will be cool and it will condensate. This condensed exhaust will run down the vent and is gathered in an internal tray from where it goes to the condensation drain. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES is the condensed exhaust in contact with your hot (or cold) water. By re-using your exhaust (hot), the efficiency will show on paper an additional 15% -17% added to the standard 80% of a conventional water heater.

Answer:	I do not have recirculation setup yet. I believe this unit comes with the control functionality for recirculating but that you still need to install your own pump inline with the return water line.

Answer:	I think, you need buy a WiFi module, call Rennai and ask. Circ-logic did not work for me, I had to install re circulation pipe. Because of the high minimum flow requirements, this unit did not work with any regular re circulation pump, so wasted money buying a Watts pump. And paid double for the labor. Rennai told me that I should have bought their thankless heater with re-circulation built in.
