Answer:	I haven’t tried the name brand munchkin but my door had lots of wiggle room! If your door is big, this would be a great fit. Just keep in mind the pieces snap together, my toddlers were able to table it apart!

Answer:	Wow, a lot of troll answers here! As a parent of a 3 yr old boy, who has learned how to escape his room. Although time-outs have not proved to be that effective with disciplining my son, it sure is MUCH better than physical or verbal abuse. Gives them time to think about what they did, and a chance to calm down. Especially if you have other young children at times it is necessary to separate them. So yes, in instances where for example a 20min time out is the best option for a child that needs to chill out before they can calm down and say sorry and realize what they have done wrong, these are perfect!

Answer:	No, they do not get hot. However, the door grips do tend to stretch and fall off when they are placed in a warm area. We put one on the barn doorknob - going into the shop. It is not exposed to the elements but, the area is subject to varied temps.. The wings fall out constantly and in turning the door knob the grip falls off on the floor. We finally bought a handle style knob set, end of problem.
