Question:	Can the temperature output be adjusted to 105F
Answer:	Sinks have aerators to slow down the water where a tub doesn't. It sounds like one possibility is that your exceeding the GPM for this heater. Next possibility, double check an measure your actually getting at least 240v at the heater, I had an issue where my unit was only getting 235v an it was causing a similar issue where only one of the two heating elements was activating. I had it set to 125F but it was coming out 100F. It was warm and without a meter I would of thought it was working correctly until I tried filling a tub. It couldn't even get the water warm. I pulled my wires out an restripped an cut an screwed them in an it fixed my problem, now its measuring around 245v. Make sure there is no copper showing after screwing down your input wires. Now filling the tub I noticed after about 10-15 seconds the water gets too hot to touch. I set it to 135F.

Answer:	I don’t know. But I suggest u look for a different brand. It already failed twice in less than a year and their warranty is a scam. They provide the parts which are pennies and leave out labor.

Answer:	Hold up there, previous answer, not so fast. It is true that you should not have both the hot water heater and furnace venting directly into the flue, combining the exhaust. However, some people see their vent pipes entering the flue (or chimney wall) and assume they are both releasing the fumes inside the chimney. In some cases, the venting pipes continue separately up the flue. Joseph, if you have two vent pipes entering your flue, there is a chance that both pipes continue separately up the flue and out the top. If that is the case, you may be able to use the existing hot water vent system. When you look at the top of your chimney, do you see two terminations coming out?
Question:	How does very cold intake water affect performance
Answer:	Sorry to contradict but the temperature of the water going into the water heater will definitely have an effect on the temperature of the water coming out. the water heater needs to provide enough BTUs to heat the volume of water that you need to the water temperature that you want. If the water starts off at a lower temperature it will take more BTUs to get it to the temperature you want. This unit claims to be able to provide 6.6 gallons of hot water per minute but that assumes the water is startling an average temperature. If you have a modern shower head it will only use about 2.5 GPM but if you have second shower going, a hot water faucet open or a clothes washer filling at the same time you will run out of capacity quickly. Rinnai should have tables on their website that shows the ability of the unit to heat water at a variety of starting temperatures to a range of hot water temperatures at a given flow rate.

Answer:	Assuming you have everything hooked up correctly, at 3.5 GPM, the MAX TEMP will be NO MORE THAN 55 degrees ABOVE THE TEMPERATURE OF THE INCOMING WATER. For example, if the incoming water temp is 50 degrees in the winter, then the max winter temp will be 105. In the summer, when the incoming water is 65 degrees, the max summer temp will be 120 degrees. This is the way ALL demand heaters work. Be SURE to check the TEMPERATURE RISE specification on ANY demand heater to know what it is truly capable of. If the TEMP RISE is specified at 3GPM, and you try to set it higher, it may CUT BACK THE FLOW RATE to achieve the higher temp, but it will NEVER exceed the TEMP RISE spec.

Question:	In the picture the heaters are made of copper, but you claim this is a stainless steel heater unit. I am running well water and copper is not desired
Answer:	Mine was made with copper tubes to house the elements. We have well water not sure why you don't want copper. We use a water softner and would suggest that you should as well if you have hard water. The calcium build up doesn't have any place to fall to as in a regular water heater.

Answer:	This water heater activates at 0.5 GPM and will heat to your set temperature at the correct flow rate for that set temperature. Question:	Electric panel is ~50 feet from where i want to install the tempra 29 trend. is this distance ok for #8 thhn wire
Answer:	The recommended wire is 8/2 and there is not a limit to distance written in the install directions. You need to check with your electrician. Make sure he is state license and insured. Answer:	There is no specific installation kit. However, we suggest using flexible braided hose connections that screw onto the hot and cold water for the first 18" or so. These connections are easy to remove to check a filter screen or if needed to work on the unit in general. The connections are 3/4" NPT. Answer:	It requires 60Hz/110VAC and it is rated at 24W. Unfortunately for me, the HE is not listed by a nationally recognized testing lab, so the installation requirements are much more stringent. In my case the National Fuel Gas Code requires more clearance around it than I have in my water heater closet. So I returned mine.

Question:	Why show 40kw on 120 volt ?. This is NG unit why 40 kw
Answer:	Gently twist clockwise and anti clockwise (1/4 of an inch) and pull the pump upwards - this will then allow you to remove the sponge filter to clean. If you need to clean the pump at this stage just unscrew the visable screw to enable separation and clean.
Question:	Has anyone successfully installed this at 4800ft elevation
Answer:	This pump does not come with batteries. It takes 4 "D" cells. It may work fine with rechargeable batteries but I have only used alkaline batteries in mine.
Question:	What are the connection sizes for the water and gas, and does it come with any adapters
Answer:	Yes, I think it would. As you can see in the picture there are 3 different sized nozzles, so I'm sure you could fit the end of a balloon on one of them, and leave yourself some room after blowing up to tie it off.
