Answer:	Answer is: NO, if you thinking about threading it to the drain value on the tank. The brass fitting on the end of the hose is not threaded. Maybe, if the plastic tubing will fit "inside" the drain value. If the hose doesn't fit inside the drain value, buy a smaller dia hose. that will fit inside the drain valve. You might be able to "Siphon" out most of the water by removing the Annode tube/rod at the top of the tank to allow access to the water in the tank. The Siphon hose is about 10' long. To "siphon, the end with the brass fitting must be below the water level in the tank and OUTSIDE the tank. That's critical. The other end of the hose is in the tank. The hose will want to curl up so you will loose depth. Result: You will be able to extract some water but probably not all. Good Luck.

Answer:	NO ! Aqueon has a kuncle at the base of there units. I never had much luck with Aqueon heaters and with my research over forty seven years I now use Fluval M heaters. Yes cheap BUT they last forever and built well. I have several ( 300 watt $26 ) not bad and very good heater. Just my choice , for fish to my turtles. This heater shield has 6 sections that SLIDE on from the base. Been years since I had a Aqueon but if that protected kuncle can come off without damaging the heater then YES you could use the SLEEVE. Just be carefull! Also I use 300 watt Fluval's in three outdoor rubber maid 150 gal turtle ponds just for extra cold winters. Oldest (eight years old ) with no problems. 300 watt does not melt sleeve or container and I crank them up for the turtles !!! 100 watt will not be a problem if you can get that kuncle off... Good luck.

Answer:	For the experiment I did, I needed to take the frequency (in pulses per second) and multiply it by 0.0117951447 to get liters per minute. But you asked for pulses per liter so, I'll convert it for you. Dividing by 60 and taking the inverse results in pulses per liter, and that comes out to: 5086.83999 pulses per liter. but just a little heads up warning, it's not perfectly linear. You should do the experiment by measuring it for the flow ranges you'll expect.

Answer:	I’ve tested it up to 80C with no problems. However, I did not go beyond this temp as I could feel the plastic softening.
