Answer:	Adjust the big square thing on the top of the pole by wiggling it around until the lock nut loosens up and you can move the big square thing up and down. Move it down to about one and a half or two inches from the bottom. It should solve the problem.

Answer:	All required washer locknut and clip come inside the package- yes you still need them as it will install as an exact match to what was there previously
Question:	Whats the coil spring for
Answer:	Well my Kohler toilet had a Ball and arm that came in it originally and it started leaking, and I used this to replace it. Was really quite easy to do, most difficult part is removing the water inside the tank that's left over after you turn off the water and flush. I used several old towels. You could also if you had enough space undo the fill valve and have a container to catch the water. Other than that its quite easy.
Question:	Okay I'm not too handy but what is the spring for
Answer:	Mine had the same problem! It just spun. Somethign was stuck and I got extremely frustrated. The directions said to turn, but that did nothing. Turns out the whole base can be pulled straight out if the retaining collar is slid upward. After sliding that collar up, give it a good yank. Just don't break the valve and float at the top; I just about did. This fluidmaster video explains how. It's not the exact match, but is pretty much the same exact setup since Fluidmaster makes the official Kohler fill valve. Question:	Is the flapper for 2 inch toilets
Answer:	It's a variation on the 400 series. Fluidmaster makes maybe over a dozen different versions including OEM versions sold by Kohler, PerforMAX versions, ones with brass shanks, etc. The only thing that seems to be exactly the same among all versions is the float and the (replaceable) seal. Almost every Fluidmaster fill valve (including the 747PRO) uses the Model 242 seal. As others noted, it comes with a set of restrictor inserts to reduce the amount of water going into the bowl. You want to use the one that just manages to fill the bowl to the maximum around the same time as the tank is filled. I found the green one is installed in 400A valves in an American Standard Cadet 3. Those factory installed valves are EXACTLY the same as retail 400A valves, except for the insert and that they use a hex nut (which requires a tool to install/remove) rather than a wing nut that has to be tightened/loosened by hand. Someone mentioned the roller clamp in the PerforMAX. Fluidmaster has a newer one (400H) that uses a dial that varies the restriction. Much easier to adjust than the roller clamp. Fluidmaster has also been adding a bigger adjustment knob to most of its fill valves, so the photo might not reflect that yet.

Answer:	The picture is of the "bottom" side of the flapper, showing the hollow ball that falls down and seals the closet's discharge outlet. On the opposite (not pictured) side there's a tab to attach the chain.
Question:	What is the size of water line connection
Answer:	Make sure it really is the flapper first. Check the flush valve for cracks or an uneven edge and make sure it isn't the flush valve gasket. Fill the tank and shut off the water, see if it leaks down to the flapper and stops. If it leaks down lower, it isn't the flapper. I have had to replace both the flapper and the gasket on mine.
Question:	Why does my toilet clog
Answer:	According to the back panel of factory packaging for the Korky 2021BP, this flapper will fit TOTO Part No. THU138S. I had no problem with mine.

Question:	Gasket is causing the tank not to sit straight on the bowl and causing leaks on my American standard toilet.. Anybody have a solution
Answer:	There is no installation video included; at least when I purchased mine.
Question:	I have a bristol bay comfort series toilet. will this repair kit work on it
Answer:	I just drilled amount and used brass fittings, one of the fittings was a little smaller for the black drain line that goes to the P-trap so I just took a piece of scrap tubing put on it and then forced the black drain tubing into the brass fitting 10 years later the yellow one broke so I drilled it out got the proper size Barb forced it into the faucet tapping it gently with a hammer and no leaks! I think it's actually a better design than the original and my lines were always secure zip tied and out-of-the-way but I live in a manufactured home so it could have been vibration or a number of different issues.
Question:	The hole in my tank is 2 1/2", will this 2" valve kit work for me
Answer:	The reason you want an air gap faucet is to prevent any possibility of waste water being siphoned into the RO unit and contaminating the filtered drinking water. Having said that, an RO air gap faucet can be prone to leaking at the faucet. If you have a basement under your installation site, I would locate the filters and tank in the basement, and you then route the waste water line to a drain. Good luck with the installation. It is not rocket science, but you need to be an experienced DIY person for a smooth install.
Question:	When they say 2 inch does that mean the porcelain hole? The hole (where the flapper seats) in my 1956 toilet is 2.25 inches across. I am guessing so
Answer:	I had this issue. Also noticed a thump every now and then in the storage tank. Your tank bladder is leaking by. It is about time to replace it. I talked to the people at Whirlpool and they explained this to me. I have had my unit for about 10 years and it has been a good one. Yeah, I blew out the old crap from the other side of the bladder but decided it was not worth chancing the quality of my water. I bought a new unit and still have time left on my membrane and filters, so I will keep using those and replace with the new ones when they are due.

When installed the tank has a 9.5-inch diameter and the system has a dimension of around 4.5-inch width and a height about 11 inches and about 12 inches length. They don't require a big space. Answer:	In the picture from left to right: The valve, black locking nut, under which is the piece that holds tube (not shown but is supplied) to overflow tube, red washer with corresponding black locking nut*, and finally is the optional white locking tab to prevent unwanted accidental adjustments. *The red washer and corresponding nut are not used unless this is a new install. If replacing an existing valve, you will connect the existing supply hose or tube to valve. Even with new installs, you would most likely use a new flexible braided hose that comes with the proper nuts attached on both ends therefore the red washer and nut is not needed.

Answer:	No. THU9021 is a junction valve. This is a fill valve (universal) for inside of the tank. The TSU99A.X was a perfect replacement for the OEM TSU18A fill valve that started leaking after 26 months.

Question:	bottom part (4) is 1/2 (or) 3/4 outside join nut
Answer:	Extremely quite. The only noise I hear is a slight whoosh sound from the permeate pump, but I only noticed that when the house was completely quiet. If I'm 6 feet away from the area where it was installed I don't hear it at all. Also the little whoosh sound is not constant...I believe the sound comes from the permeate pump pushing out the waste water it uses to power the pump or something like that. Anyway a short time after installation and I don't even hear the pump sound any longer. I'm extremely happy with the system and am really happy that I put in the ice maker kit to my refrigerators ice maker.

Answer:	is the hole on your tank measured directly across 2 1/2 inch? if so then this valve kit should as the 2 Inch flush kit is measured as an inside diameter... the outside is arrrox 2 3/8 inch and with washers it should cover your hole
