Would have used in other remodel had we not had the wall open and raised pipe. We ended up using a 3-4" straight crome nipple pipe and adjustable shower arm to get more height. |

My house was built about 1960, and the shower was really uncomfortable--this was a major improvement. (Now, if they will just figure out how to make the shower stall bigger!) Really a great product. |

| Answer: | It took me a while to figure that out because you have to push it in to lock it and pull it out to unlock it The reason it took a bit was I thought I had it in place but didn't. I had to rock it back and forth slightly while pushing in before I found the correct position to lock it by pushing in. In regard to the tension knob, that took a little effort because it wouldn't allow me to adjust it either at first because it was tight by default from the factory. Because it's plastic, it's going to move if enough pressure is applied. Why it's so tight from the factory I can only guess is because it's assembled by machine. Until you can get it to rock, you may not be able to lock it in place. |
