The Amprobe 5XP-A digital multimeter with built-in non-contact voltage detector is an average-sensing, manual-ranging meter for measuring current, voltage, and resistance in electrical testing applications. The meter comes with a set of detachable test leads that measure alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) to 200 milliamp, AC voltage to 750 volts (V), DC voltage to 1,000V, and resistance to 20 megaohms. Answer:	The nib can be removed while cleaning, but you may not need to. A good flush with tap water, or a pen cleaning solution should be all you need to use, as long as you have been using traditional fountain pen ink (non-pigmented water based dye ink).

Answer:	The pen comes with cartridges and an ink converter which is a device you fill from a bottle of ink and install similarly to a cartridge in the pen.

Answer:	It comes with three ink cartridges and an adapter. If you can find a cartridge that is compatible with the pen, then yes. But if you can find an inkwell with the sepia ink, which isn't impossible, then the adapter will work just as well.
Question:	On the 37xr-a, how easily can the continuity beep be heard? e.g. Heard over background noise? And does it beep at all measures of continuity
Answer:	I am right handed, but when I try to write or draw with my left hand the pen works just fine. I often draw with it upside down for finer line weights, so I would say the flexible nib is pretty forgiving. I can "push" it in any direction and still get a nice line! I hope that helps!

Then you take a separate piece and screw it onto the end of he metal rod to hold them together, like a nut and bolt.

Question:	Does it have peak RMS
Answer:	I believe that about 6 pencil in a row for a total of two rows. However that's for a standard pencil a pencil of diameter of 1/2 inches seems a little bigger then that so only one row might fit .
Question:	I'd be interested in getting this for measuring active power out of audio amplifiers (<1kW) but is it correct this can only measure minimum 10kW
Answer:	1 3/4' (45mm) wide 7 1/8' (181mm) long and a hair under 5/8" (15mm) deep (with lid closed)
Question:	Is this made in Taiwan
Answer:	The box has 6 sides, not 8, so it is a hexagon
Question:	Does this come with a test certificate
Answer:	Yes! I bought them by mistake thinking they were all the same size.
Question:	what are the dimensions of the AM 560 meter
Answer:	it is not really EXTRA FINE NIB. I put it away in garbage long time ago... I suggest you the saylor pen is good.
Question:	Does it have vfc feature.voltage frequency converter
Answer:	Yes, make sure of alignment.
Question:	Where are these meters made
Answer:	The cartridge are international standard type. While they won't work with Lamy or Pilot cartridges, they will work with pretty much any other cartridge you find. Sheaffer cartridges are this type. Better, you can buy an international standard converter, which turns the pen from a cartridge type into something that can refill itself straight out of the bottle. You can also buy a syringe and use that to suck up ink from a bottle and inject into a cartridge, then put the cartridge back in the pen.
Question:	How long does the back light in the display stay on? Is there a setting that makes that make the back light stay on without turning off automatically
Answer:	It's "Extra Fine" but the nib is more like a German nib in terms of size. Their "EF" is actually a Japanese "Medium" If you want a real "fine" nib you buy a Japanese pen. Pilot Fine nibs have a thinner line than European EF nibs. I would recommend the Pilot Cavalier or a Pilot Birdy if you need a fountain pen with a fine nib. But I seriously don't think that fountain pens are the best pen to use for professional illustrating. There are specific pens for that.

Amprobe AM-520 HVAC Multimeter with Non-Contact Voltage Detection

The AM-520 comes with a set of detachable test leads that measure AC/DC current to 10 amps, AC voltage to 750V, DC voltage to 1,000V, resistance to 40 megaohms, capacitance to 4,000 microfarads, frequency to 10 megahertz (MHz), and microamps. The meter comes with a K-type thermocouple probe for measuring temperature. The meter's non-contact voltage detector senses AC voltage without making contact with the circuit. A built-in flashlight allows the user to read component values and name tags in dark areas. The microamp reading identifies current changes in flame detector applications. The 4,000 microfarad capacitance rating is for testing run/start capacitors on motors. A liquid crystal display (LCD) shows readings both in digits and on a 41-segment bar graph. The display is backlit for visibility in low light. The relative zero mode stores a reading in memory to use as a zero point for subsequent readings, allowing for quick comparison of readings.

The AM- 520 is perfect for the installation and repair of AC units. This includes voltage checks, current draw, startup capacitors, temperature (high and low side of the system). It checks flame sensors on heating systems powered by natural gas or propane with microamp function as well as checksthermostat voltage and wiring continuity. Use the AM-520 in hospitals, schools, houses, and office buildings.

Non-contact voltage detection enhances safety

The AM-520 features a built-in flashlight to see wires and fuses in the dark, a rubber tilt stand and probe holder to give you the 'third-hand' you need while taking measurements.
