Question:	what size nozzles come with this unit & how many cfm required
Answer:	If you need to ask this question, you probably also have no idea that you MUST wear a proper respirator. If you use silica/glass or many other types of media in a sand blaster without a respirator (not a mask, but a full on twin filter setup) you will have just enough time to realize you screwed up before you drown in your own blood. A friend of mine was lucky and only lost 70% of his lung capacity after not knowing this when his brother found him almost dead on the garage floor. Im sorry for being graphic but this is no joke. You'll end up dead if you dont wear one.
Question:	Will this work well as a soda blaster
Answer:	I started out using 80 grit glass bead from TSC to strip paint and rust from metal. By putting down a plastic sheet, all I had to do after sand blasting was sweep it up, screen it and and I got another four uses out the it. All abrasives wear down to dust. I tried 40-60 grit garnet on an old heavily coated radiator and it worked great. But it did break down faster than the glass bead. The play sand mentioned in the other "answers" is a great way to go once you have screened it. For me, I have found 40 to 80 grit abrasives work best for metal cleaning and what type of media is up to you based on your budget and enviromental considerations.

Question:	Can this be used to deep etcg glass
Answer:	You need to look at the CFM (cubic feet of air per minute output) rating of your air compressor at 90 PSI. Then compare that to the CFM requirements of the sandblaster at the same PSI. This sandblaster says in requires 10 CFM at 90 PSI. A quick look at a typical 2HP compressor at Harbor Freight says their's makes 6 CFM at 90 PSI. Its my experience that some manufacturers fudge their numbers on air compressors so your's might not even be putting out a real 2HP. 1 HP = 746 watts so 2HP = 1500W. Your breaker will trip at 1800W (15 AMPs) is your compressor is 120 VAC. Sounds like a compressor like that will lead to a big waiting game. You might get along well with a little siphon sandblaster. You'll still be waiting for the compressor though. I try to avoid using HP ratings on air compressors b/c they are too vague. Its like vacuum cleaners. Might use 15 AMPs of electricity but that doesn't necessarily translate into how well it picks up dirt. The marketing department likes that unit measure though. Sounds/looks good. Means little. A compressor might consume 2HP of electricity but be inefficient and not move much air (CFM). Hope this helped.

Question:	So...If I use a 2hp 30 galon compresor, I'll be able to strip at least half iron 15'' rim at time
Answer:	The Nozzle at end is around half or 9/16th inch diameter. I used 5.4 scfm with 15 gallon tank, max 180#. Worked well. Had to pause sometimes for compressor to catch up. I also cut the rubber intake hoze to half it's length and that mase a big difference. If u use common sand you had better sift it first. But if you do get a clog... it's very easy to clear the clog.

Answer:	I purchased and used pure baking soda. I picked up a 12lb bag at Walmart in the pool supply section for about $8 but then I found a 50lb bag (both arm & hammer brand) for just $25. It flows very well through this gun for me.

Answer:	Your set screw might be too far in.
Question:	Does the container need to be above the gun, or does a venturi form that pulls the abrasive up the tube. i need to work at the top of a 15' ceiling
Answer:	When you decide on the air, forget hp, forget psi. You want to consider CFM in the very first place. To pull tiny particles up the hose you can survive with an 11 CFM compressor. That is basically a 60 gallon compressor. Below 60 gallons you won't sandblast anything. Now, if you go to an 80 gallons compressor, you get 15 CFM and that allows you to pull "medium" particles up the hose (like crushed glass or medium coal slag). Those particles will eat the surface nice and fast. Although the next variable is psi and the third is gun tip width, the first variable CFM is the one that either makes it work or not. As for psi, open your compressor to 90 or up to 120. As for gun nozzle, keep is small for small particles, and get it bigger like 1/4 inch for medium abrasive (abrasive is what you shoot at the surface and crushed glass or medium coal slag are the best - coal slag is also known as "black diamond").

Answer:	Yes this can certainly be used to Etch glass. This will be done best with the following medias: Glass bead, Aluminum Oxide, or Silicon Carbide.

Answer:	15 to 20 cfm you need a 5 hp compressor the best would be two stage or larger. this thing sucks air big time , if you are not set up right , forget it. My 5hp single stage would only let me blast under two minutes , before running again. Eastwood makes it look like you can plug in and go , no so for most of us home shop guys.

Question:	Will it work with walnut shells
Answer:	It depends on the size of the frame and the amount of rust. If you use red garnet blasting medium you can actually reuse it several times. But you will need to have tarps and stuff on the ground so you don’t sweep up a bunch of other stuff when you recycle it back into the blaster. You can fit 80-90 pounds in the hopper at one time. So at least start with two bags. But if it’s large or really rusty and you don’t want to make a run to store mid project I’d buy 4-6 bags and just return any unopened ones. But I also haven’t seen your project so that’s a guess.

Question:	What air preassure psi is needed
Answer:	there is no manual. but i've had one before and you just pour dry sand into a 5 gal. bucket, screw in the air hose quick connect that fits your air hose (unless you dont have a quick disconnect-then you would have to buy one at a hardware store) then you push the rubber hose onto the metal rod and the stick the rod deep into the sand. if a nozzle wears out you replace it with one of the others. the small brass thing with the o-ring fits inside. replace it when the one that's in it wears out.(use the allen wrench on the allen screw close to the trigger. the other one replaces the nozzle. also push the rubber hose on the down tube next to the trigger.

Answer:	You have to buy it separate

Question:	does this have the function of a compressor or do i have to buy separate
Answer:	Yes! But wear proper respiratory gear if you’re doing this indoors. Glass will remove the paint no problem. It will also remove the glaze on the brick potentially depending on technique. Chemical stripping is another option. We don’t sell that, but you can search for it.
Question:	can this be used as a soda blaster
Answer:	At least 90, more pressure causes better removal. But having as large a tank as you possibly can. If you want progressional results, shop has at least a120 gallon tank. Or, you can use multiple smaller(but still not small) compressors. I have 2 26 gallon compressors and wish I had a third. Advantage is you can get them one at a time.
