Keep pouring the powder in slowly. Don't dump in all the powder and water in all at once, it won't work. Works best with a helper - most concrete jobs do.

Answer:	No you have the right unit!! This is a protective cover over the machined shaft and will pull off easily! I initially thought the same thing! Once you pull it off you will see the shaft with the flat side to accommodate the motor. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The motor has enough power. To be able to dump into a wheelbarrow, the mixer has to be set up on three pallets. Two bags sloshing around could likely turn it over, even on the ground, but maybe not. I put in another bag right after dumping and can pour a 34-bag footing in a day. I'm glad I never rented a mixer, which I was thinking early on.

Answer:	I believe this is a half-horse motor. We have used ours extensively for garden/yard paths as well as a 8X10 patio. Worked very well!
Question:	How many lbs of cement can be loaded for mixing? Is it 1/2 HP
Answer:	We mix one bag at a time. It is a 1/2 horse up. Good little mixer for the price!
Question:	can you do 2-60lb bags of cement
Answer:	Not at the same time! One bag at a time. It will do garden paths - small jobs.
