Answer:	I am unsure of the arbor size on your saw, but the blade should fit any circular or miter saw that has a 5/8 inch arbor. I have a rigid tile saw and no problems. They lasted longer than any other blade a tried and were well balanced

Answer:	It cuts granite, so it should work for agate. I'm not sure what you mean by "other hard stones." Diamond will cut every stone on earth (including other diamonds). However, this isn't a lapidary blade. For one, it's thicker than most lapidary blades and you will waste a lot of material in the cutting. Second, there aren't as many diamonds on this as on a lapidary blade so the blade won't last nearly as long. What do you want to cut?

Answer:	It worked very poorly on bricks/concrete. It's not a very good blade in general, and I would not try it on nails. Get a blade specifically designed for metal.

WHAT KIND OF DIAMOND BLADE DO I NEED?

Selecting the size of the diamond blade is all dependent on what tool you are using, as well as the material you are trying to cut. Every application will vary on the task at hand, as well as the bore size and segment height of the blade.

DECIDE WHICH IS MOST IMPORTANT►

The initial price of the tool or the cost per cut. For smaller jobs or occasional use, a low priced tool may be preferable. For larger jobs or regular use, a higher priced tool will actually be less expensive to use because it will deliver the lowest cost per cut.

KNOW THE TYPE AND POWER OF YOUR EQUIPMENT►

Will you be using a 5-hp power cutter or a 70-hp flat saw? The answer will dramatically impact blade choice. The diamond blade size, whether you can use a wet or dry blade and the rpms needed to spin the blade all depend on the equipment.

CHOOSE WET OR DRY CUTTING►

For tile and masonry saws, either wet or dry cutting blades can be used. For power cutters, dry blades are more popular, but they are often used wet to control dust. Wet blades MUST be used with water. Dry blades may be used either dry or wet, depending on the job and the equipment.

Answer:	I am using it on a MK660 with 3500 RPM, but I also have a friend using it on a MK 377 exp with 5500 RPM without any problem. Most important is enough with cooling water and that you sharpen the disc now and then. Another interesting disc is also the new BOSCH diamond disc for glass....

Answer:	It is depends of the material. I am using it for cutting fused glass 6-8 mm with layers of dichroic glass between, a very tuff material for the blade. We are using the saw twice a week for 3-4 hours nonstop cutting every time and change the blade every 2 month to avoid splitter from the glass. So it means at least 60-80 hours hard work for the blade. We have plenty of other blades, but are always coming back to this. Important is house a sharpening stone for diamond blades regular keep the water in the saw clean and let the saw make the job without pushing.

Answer:	I would save these bits for drilling porcelain tiles; and you'll need to keep spraying water on the bit to cool it off. If you just want to drill holes in concrete, get standard masonry bits and use a hammer drill. Spend an extra $50 and get a good one. The best bit in the world won't drill concrete with a standard drill. You need a hammer drill.

Answer:	Aron, The "better sanding strips" can be used with water, but first and most important is what are you needing to do to use water on, and very important is applying water to the strip. I use water for fine polishing and quick cutting. I started using water for an abrasive conditioner in my work, and I actually was "electricuted, lightly" from me applying water on the strip improperly. Use a fine spray to keep the "amount of need water" flowing. Do not spray anywhere else for safety reasions.Hope this helps,Robertw

If you are viewing the machine from the side where the dust collection port is, the belt rotates clockwise, if you look at the machine from the side the motor is on, it rotates counter clockwise. When sanding something on the table the belt surface is moving toward the table (or floor) when running.

Answer:	I guess it will all depend on what you are trying to do. What kind of stock and how much shaping is needed vs. how rough are you willing to accept. But let me take a shot at this anyway. The lower the number (in this case, 100 or less) will take more off. This is belt is 400 grade, so it is almost to the level of polishing. Now this assumes wood, I plan to use this to reset edges on whittling knives. (I finish with 1000 to 2000 for a polish and then a leather stropping belt to finish the polish.) So one man's rough is another man's polish... Anyway, this is a one inch belt, so if you are looking to really shape some wood with a sander you may want to look at a 3" belt sander. There are some really good belt AND disk sanders (I use one of these too) that do an outstanding job at shaping. Last thing, just a suggestion based on your question, try a sample pack. Get a set of belts that range from around 80 to 220 or higher. Then see what works best for what YOU want to do. After all, 10 belts that are WAY TO FINE would be a waste. On the other hand if your stock is like balsa wood, this would actually be perfect. FYI, at this level of grit you can even do work on light plastic. So again, what you are working on and just how you want it removed (fast/rough) will effect what is "best".
