Answer:	I use it like a pole to raise the cover up high enough to put the unzipped cover over the top of the closed umbrella. The zipper string hangs down just far enough to zip the cover shut from the top. Then I store the 3 piece pole inside the main pole in the small gap there. Works perfectly!

Answer:	Only had the umbrella for a short time. But we’ve had intense heat and the umbrella looks fine. I would think for the price and what it’s intended for, it should stand up to the sun. Nothing lasts forever but it wouldn’t hurt to do it I guess.

Answer:	check to see if the axel the pulley rotates around is bent or if the pulley itself is worn so bad where the axel goes thru it that the pulley is cocked to one side causing the cord when it is taunt to ride off the side. Good luck!

Answer:	More than 7’ depending the stand. Also be prepare for a sturdy and heavy one. The pole it’s aluminum and very thin. it wouldn’t withstand winds more than 7-9 mph. I reinforced mine inserting a 24” PVC pipe (painted black) in he cast iron 26 pounds stand. The screw it’s tide now and even though looks sturdy. The umbrella tills with winds more than 12mph.

Question:	can this ubrella be used in arenas clipped on chair
Answer:	It depends on how thick is the chair. If it has no padding, then yes. People behind you might get ticked off. Also, the clamp is made of plastic and can break easily. Mine broke after 2 weeks of usage.
Question:	how wide can this clamp open? Im trying to clamp onto a 2" desk to block florescent light
Answer:	It's meant to clamp to a lawn chair so I don't think this will work for you.
Question:	How long is it
Answer:	33" long when the clamp is screwed closed and 35" long when the clamp is opened up to it maximum point. Hope this helps!

Answer:	Yes the clamp is attached. You can also remove it and change the position from horizontal to vertical.

Answer:	I can't vouch for that, my lights have not burned out. I would definitely purchase again!

Answer:	The power pod is a circular Multi plug outlet that comes with it. You plug the power pod into an extension cord and then the lights plug into one of the sockets. It's actually pretty cool.
