Answer:	From what I have read, the Diablo series is made in Italy but who knows what really goes on these days? I am happy with the blade and at the price it is a good value. Could they have been made in Italy at one time and then sourced/made in another country later on? I can't say.

Answer:	The vents are actually through-cut, then filled with a rubbery material. They really do work. These blades are far quieter than the stock blades that come on most saws.
Question:	Would you recommend this blade for ripping finished hardwood? I am looking for a good blade for ripping cabinet fillers, etc
Answer:	It depends on what the cabinets are made out of. If they're solid wood, yes absolutely this blade will do great, it leaves almost sanded smooth edges if your saw is setup right. If its plywood, or particle board, or mdf, I'd use a diablo blade meant for that kind of wood like the freud d1090x 90 tooth blade, that will leave sanded smooth edges on a plywood board, and wont tear up your veneer like the 50 tooth blade might.
Question:	Would this blade cut a flat bottom dado
Answer:	No - The better version, if you want to make smooth multiple passes for a dado is the more expensive, Freud LU84R011 which has a flat bottom edge on the first tooth after each gullet.

Answer:	No. It is not intended for that purpose. This is a high quality wood cutting blade with carbine tips. Using it to cut metal could be dangerous. Don't do it. Use a blade meant for cutting metal.

Answer:	no it is not .. Radial arm saws have a different Hook angle on the teeth. It is between 5 degrees and 0 degrees. This blade is 12 to 15 degrees. designed for a table saw.

Answer:	That's what I used it for. I put down oak laminate in the kitchen, hallway, and guest bath using a Dewalt chop saw without any problems. BTW, cut it face side up.

Answer:	I am not sure. The times I have cut plastics, I have used a finer toothed blade. The kerf is narrow so I think it may work if the feed rate is slow. Contact Makita customer service. i'm sure they will help you choose a suitable blade.

Answer:	Cutting laminate flooring is a great way to dull your blade so, if possible use an older blade rather than trashing a brand new blade. I ended the life of an older blade cutting laminate flooring for a small 10 x 12 room - it really was that dramatic - the blade burned wood afterward. But 80 tooth is makes for a smooth cut in laminate.
Question:	what the difference between a miter saw blade and a table saw blade
Answer:	There is no difference. A 10" 80t blade is ideal for cutting melamine or wood whete you want a clean cut with less chipping. There is no difference. You can get the frued triple chip blades and I have had good luck with those.

Answer:	I have not had a problem using it with the splinter guard that came with my TS55. I use it mostly for rips or for thicker hardwoods. As you know the stock TS55 blade can bog down doing things like butcher block countertops. This blade is kind of essential for my setups.

Answer:	This blade has little to no waste. The cut width is very small. And if you need to rip a Board it needs little to no power to preform

Answer:	FTG means Flat Top Grind. I just went out to the shop to confirm that the teeth are all flat so yes, this blade would give you a flat bottom cut.

Answer:	Absolutely. Great blade, nice cuts with very minimal chipping on cross cuts. It does produce very fine saw dust...just so you’re aware.

Answer:	I just bought the D1060X at HD. It is made in Italy, but I notice some manufacturers (eg. Irwin) are selling blades from both China and Italy.

Answer:	Good question. I did not actually measure the kerf, but definitely less than the usual 1/8 inch. I would speculate 1/10 or under.

Answer:	I am not sure what 20MM is- but on most saws if your arbor is not 5/8" the diamond shaped " knock out" around the the 5/8 hole will come out and fit a matching diamond shape raised portion on your saw to lock in the blade. Not sure if that makes sense- if you had a picture of your saw, it could help.
