Answer:	It'll make a rectangle absolutely. However if all you're doing is a router table is get the smaller PM-1000 version. It's more than sufficient for a router table and cheaper than this 2500 model. this one is beefier no doubt but you're wasting money unless you need the capacity.

Answer:	The pins extend 1- 3/8” below the base of the black clamp body. The pin has a diameter of 5/16” and is tapered in toward the clamp screw approximately 5 degrees for a tighter hold on the fence piece. The threaded arm of the pin is 3-1/8” long which allows for an ample range of width adjustments. I have had no problems with separation from the lower part of the rip fence and suggest the use of two or three clamps to insure a flat grip to the entire length of the rip fence.
